Shouldn't it be called "A Song of Ice and Fire" since "Game of Thrones" is just the first book? If the show's successful, they're not going to want to change the title just for a sequel.

Because of many open endings or sequels they decided to make a season for every book , so it will be called a song of ice and fire in completion but they gave every season the name of the book it is about

But the title is fitting for the whole series. All throughout the series the people are constantly commenting on "the game of thrones", especially Petyr. So sure it might not be the name of the books but it still works.

i think we all know deep down HBO arent going to portray the series aswell as we imagine the book when we read them ..its guna be a huge let down..and could potentially ruin the way we look back on the books in our mind..like eg..imagin the "others" right im sure everyone ses them in thier own 'dead' way..but what if the series doesnt show them the way you wanna see them?..it could potentially corrupt the way you personally see them ,

but yeah hope its fuckin awesome.
