i think the tempo is slower. and her notes sound extended. try listening to another video with this song. i think only the chorus is slower. idk. you check. i might be wrong

I really liked Bring Me to Life for about a year but it got overplayed. I still really like the song, but for me listening to it is almost like the people who live next to a waterfall & can't hear it. What Bring Me to Life means for me now is reminiscing about my first exposure to Evanescence.

yeah it does get overplayed but it will always be my favorite because if i never heard bring me to life on the radio i would have never asked my brother the name of the band so i wudnt have looked them up on utube and buy their cd therefore i wudnt ever know evanescence existed!! lol hope that makes sense =P

That make's perfect sense. My story of discover is more oblique. I reluctantly went to my daughter's friend dance recital before Fallen. A pair of dancers chose Bring Me to Life as their song. I was absolutely enthralled and had to find the CD which didn't exist:( I found the Daredeveil album with 2 Ev songs. XD

omg thats awesome! the second song i fell in love with was everybodys fool, that was b4 i bought fallen... i sat on the computer and watched the vid over and over literally all day my mom was like "how can u do that" LOL but now i rarely play it.

I had a real problem with that song for a long time. All the other songs I figured out were either basic Christian or moral songs but Everybody's Fool did not fit.

Oh. Well they dont mean for their songs to be christian but rocky wrote tourniquet and it kinda is from a christian view bc rocky used to be in a christian death metal band so yea... but they don't wanna be labled as christian. but amy has said she is one. confusing i know lol
