I always like this aircraft it is the "DIESEL" of aircraft slow but will work hard can take lots of damage and abuse, can fly very low with good control, and needs only limited down time to get it back in the air. Well to bad looks like they are a plane of the past but i am sure there will be a better replacement for when it comes to taking out tanks and stuff on the ground that moves it is by far the best aircraft for the job.

F16 is a bad ass aircraft in its on right. As a matter of fact the F16 saved some "special forces" deep inside Iraq when they were pinned down by Iraq's. They called in an F16 "close air support" . The story is told by several guys pinned down in a ditch being a attached by Iraq's. The F16's with cluster bombs took out 100's of Iraq's. The "special forces" got out safely. Love the Dutch. Thanks Man!!!

I think this thing is gorgeous in function and detail the down-turned wingtips, the way the wheels hang out a little even when retracted, the offset front wheel to allow for that monster of a gun. It is the ideal of form following function to create a thing of purposeful beauty. To me it looks like a dragon in flight breathing fire.

However, it's mostly a term of endearment, as the Warthog has returned a pilot safely back to base after coming under intense enemy ground fire. That titanium bathtub is good for something, you know!
I believe "Warthog" fits like a glove. Have You ever tried to bring down a (animal) warthog? Do yourself a favor, and don't try it. This plane is just like them: vicious, armed to the teeth and with a hell of a hide to protect them.
