I sometimes waiver between Yes and Genesis as to whom I believe is the best progressive rock band of all time. Then I think of how much more good material Genesis has ( Peter and Phil ). Genesis is amazing live. Having Darryl and Chester completes them. Phil singing and playing the drums. I think at the end of the day Genesis is the best progressive rock band ever. No-one can touch their history. It's the stuff of legends.

I stood and watched this at Manchester. Sang at the top of my voice, the Guide Vocal part along with thousands of others and then just as I thought it couldn't get any better, Phil belted out a perfect version of Afterglow.

Apart from Genesis I cant think of any other band where the Vocals are perfect, guitar is perfect, bass is perfect, keyboards are perfect and the drums are perfect. The perfect band, absolutely fuckin' love them!

Brilliant live version of the 2nd part of the Medley.

Brilliant single pedal bass drumming during the Duke Medley. I would like to see a chart where it shows his strikes as the music goes on and see how long it takes me to master that rhythm. Fantastic. You can not find this in modern music, as far as mainstream. You just do not.
