If you want to become a police officer in the civilian world, don't enter as an MP because it will be more difficult for them to reteach you than to teach you from basic. Also, MP is one of the most highly sought after positions in the military, so you may have to wait a LONG time before there are any openings.

If you go in as Military police you will be doing security for a while, and checking I'Ds. You can guarantee that you will deploy to a war zone. MP's also patrol the roads leading to and from Military bases all over the world. It doesn't matter what M.O.S you choose, we are all part of a team. shut your opinionated ass up. :)
