The sound is definitively better in my opinion. As for the holes size and shape, it depends what you prefer, I like big holes but thoses standard rounded holes are ok too. What I miss most is 2 additional holes in the low notes, because lots of tunes have only a few low notes to play like B or A, and with a 12 holes I have to play one octave higher just for those few low notes, it's a pity. I bought the CX12 Jazz online with paypal.

J'avoue n'avoir jamais écouté une seule chanson de christophe mae malgré avoir lu sur le forum harmonica life qu'il jouait de l'harmonica. Le gros probleme sera que je ne joue pas d'oreille et donc il me faudrait trouver une partition sans parler d'un playback eventuel. En plus de ce que j'ai lu christophe mae joue du diatonique et donc il doit faire des effets de sons qui doivent bien rendre et que je n'arrive pas à refaire sur chromatique.

Non seulement tu joue admirablement bien de l'harmonica, mais en plus tu a bon gout dans la maniere de choisir tes chansons !

Thank you for your message, I'm trying it on lots of old musics I played before. It seems to get stuck much more than the chrometta and I need to take time to learn how much to try the note bending before it stops making a sound. It has great volume yes.

Thank you warren, yes I've been going through several songs I like and trying out the new harmonica in order to get used to it, it's quite easy but one problem is that the holes are somewhat smaller than the big square ones of the chrometta and so I miss notes more often on the new one, but I can forsee that once you play well this cx-12 it could allow you to play faster or at least have a better sound than the chrometta.

I have the CX-12 too; it's a fantastic harp! However, if you find that the windsavers get stuck, just make sure your harmonica is properly warmed before playing it. I use to put it on top of my amp for a couple of minutes before playing and have no problems with condensation anymore. So, before disassembling your CX-12 because it gets 'stuck', just try warming it a bit.

Oh, nice playing btw.... keep up the good work. But try some improv while you're at it. Technique is good to very good.

I already have a whole dvd with the same videos as on youtube but with original quality. I understand what you're saying about putting together a cd with quality sound recording unlike on the videos, but it's not a project at the moment, if I spend time other than simply playing, it will be toward learning theory and improvisation on the harmonica, that would be my main work if I was to do some work that is :-)
