They stopped making b4000 in 05... And it is back pressure not a leak. The 4.0l v6 in the ranger without a exhaust system is probably the beefyiest sounding v6 out there.

@MicroOrginisum I have an 93 4.0 HiPo with an muffler delete and it sounds like an bat out of hell including the other mods stock cats and mafold if it broke dont fix it.

I had this same kit on my truck. I ended up hacking the small reduction after the cat and running 2.5" into the muffler and dumping it infront of the rear tire. When I did this I got a little more sound out of it, but not much. I honestly love how the Gibson isn't super loud, but just enough audio pleasure.

build ur own.i did it with pipes clamps and sizers all from auto zone.go from the cat back for a guts growl or from the headers and run straight pipes.

all together it cost me 40 bucks,,,,

no but if u get a thrush twin exit muffler and mount it 4 inches from the cat and buy 2 angled pipes and just run 4-6 inches of pipe depending on how far you want them to stick out.....and then just put tips on the ends...

doesnt sound bad at all. A little like a car though, but not too bad man. Its only a 3.0L but it sounds good for only being a 3.0L. I'm lookin for an exhaust for my 3.9L V6 Dak, I'm heavily leaning towards the Gibson for sure.

this is a 4.0L SOHC, the 3.0L OHV Vulcan would sound better with a flowmaster 40.
