The Bill she is talking about in a so called stimulates package will have only 12% of it will have anything to do with stimulates of the country at all what so ever. 12% of a bill will be what it is suppose to be for. This stimulus is a band-aid on a hemorrhage. Bush's idiocy has bankrupted our treasury and now they want to give out checks so we can afford to pay our overpriced fuel bills? Sometimes I despair and I'm a lifelong Democrat. I agree with you, cobweb. To an extent, Reid seems to repeatedly make Pelosi's positions untenable. Yet, for reasons that are unclear to most of us, Pelosi seems to be basically unable to wield power, and that's the most important attribute of an effective speaker who wants to advance his/her party's positions.
