@jv62able Dottie had what she called, her angel room. She would go in there and God would come and give her these wonderful songs, over 3000. I have loved her music for years. Dottie said, she is only the velssel that God uses, It is All from HIS heart. Dottie is with him now, teaching Angels how to sing..She was in pain for years, She is happy.,
This woman was pure love! You just had to know her! I saw her with Donnie and Reba at Life Fellowship Church in Nashville back in 1991. Her eyes must be shining like fire now in Heaven. She just oozed the Love of God! Elvis loved her dearly and she inspired many of his gospel songs. They used to sit together and sing, she said.
interesting to watch Dottie as she watches Sandy Patti (in video of this song with Patty singing). Dottie keeps shaking her head and frowns a good deal, lol. In the words of Beethoven, it appears she is thinking that Patty is 'making a hash of it'. Patty over-prolongs her notes and is a show off. Dottie was classic and a much better, more credible artist.

Dottie Rambo was full blooded Indian, Cherokee, if I remember correctly. She spoke about her heritage many times when on TBN's "Praise The Lord" program. She's home now. We miss you Dottie.
Mrs. Dottie Rambo was truly anointed and used her gift to honor her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I love so many of her soul stirring songs, especially "We Shall Behold Him." It was only recently that I learned she wrote so many of the songs that I love so dearly. May God bless you, Mrs. Rambo, as you rest in the Father's loving arms. I have no doubt that you are in His presence.
I first saw Ms. Dottie on TBN years ago. I always admired her and meat to write her and now wish I had. I too have suffered greatly in my life and have written under inspiration many songs the Lord gave me to write. God is the great Creator and deserves all Glory and honor and praise. I know Ms. Dottie would say the same.
A lot of performers loved Dottie Rambo including Elvis and Barbara Mandrell and Dolly Pardon. And I loved her. She was a treasure.
I remember Dottie on the TBN show, i thought to myself what a voice that women has. I thank God for her music LOTS OF LOVE 4 EVER we miss you two years latter Dottie
I love the story that Dotie told about her angel room, how many people in todays time could say that, or have the heart for the angels to keep dancing around and give her the songs.
Oh Lambad...we so pray that you have an experience with Jesus and you will know that everything she sings about is true and if we could hear her now, she would tell us that the half has not been told.
Thank God for Dottie Rambo. What a great songwriter, singer, musician and gracious saint. Beloved I will see you at the great wedding feast of the Lamb.
One of the things I loved about Dottie was that she included the deaf community with her songs/hymns of praise. R.I.P, Dottie .. we miss you very much, and rejoice that you are with our Lord and Savior!
I am white and I saw Dottie when she came to San Antonio at Alamo City Christian fellowship and I have such fond memories of her. I treasure the few hours I listened to her. The little frail woman and her Tour Bus. Oh what Glory to be in her presence those few hours. That guitar and raspy voice.
See, I know this too. I do feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit when I hear this song. I am so attracted to it. I love the Lord, and He leads me right to this song. With the final hour nearing....I came to this song to play it. It talks about us beholding Jesus, coming face to face with Him. Love the Lord for these beautiful words that she sing.
@redeemedone40 Dottie was one of the greatest song writers and most powerful singers we ever knew. This was when she was at some of her best before she became very ill. Such Holy Spirit, yes.
God gave Dottie Rambo beautiful, wonderful talent, & it has blessed many. She is now in heaven beholding him, & she's one I look forward to seeing there.
Does anyone remember or have any recordings or videos of Dottie many years ago at the Louisiana United Pentecostal Camp Meeting? I would love to see some old footage like that. She is a Jewel

This is the first time I heard her sing as a healthy woman. She is a VERY GREAT Loss to us. Her writing was awesome. Shocked and saddened by her death
I love this version, even though I've heard Sandi Patty sing it many times. The gospel version to this song is incredibly strong with a great beat. I actually like it besides hearing Sandi's version.
Yes, I agree with you. It is such an inpiration to see Dottie in this video singing her own composed piece. I have seen versions sung by Sandi Patti and several other gospel singers , but none like this.
