Landslide between Badrinath and Joshimath, Uttaranchal

LOL! Always happening I guess. This happened to us leaving Badrinath as well. Had to hike to a small town and sleep in a families empty dusty room with no furniture until the boulder was chizeled away poece by piece. great memories. laughing now but not much fun then.

we from hyderabad India visited KedarnathBadrinath a few years back most important shrines hindus Passed through natural scenic beauties on either side surrounded by ice glaciers and gushing river waters The entire route is most scenic beauties but of terrains dangerous curves and bends. Once the shrine scaled and worhipped it results immense satisfaction to the mind soul etc. Although lotof risk is involved, we are planning to revisit at Badrinath once again
