The way it starts you just expect it to turn into Flash Gordon, even though we KNOW it's Star Wars. Continues quite well but I almost lost it (laughing) because it looks like 3PO and the Rebel Troopers are trying to figure out where the hell that music is coming from.

LOL, that is exactly the effect I was going for with that mix, in fact I almost let the Boston song continue but after Foreplay ends the rest just didnt really fit the scene, but it mixed nicely into the Faith No More tune and THAT I thought was a perfect fit for the battle.

Seriously, I love rock music, so this is perfect to me...Metallica, Back in Black? Perfect. The conversation scene didn't bother me at all, but I can see where it might get weird in certain scenes. I loved it Deej...GREAT job!

OK, so I couldn't resist. Seriously, though, I loved it Deej. Back in Black...perfect. I am a huge rock fan, so I can totally get into it. The dialogue didn't bother me, but I do see how over the course of a whole film it might be strange after a while. Still...loved it.

im not critising its just that it probably will take a really long time to do the whole movie and i dont think many people really want to see the whole thing with rock lol, i think you should just get the most exciting parts and put rock to it (just an idea) im not trying to be mean if thats what you are thinking i love your vids

I dont think its mean at all, I appreciate the honest opinion.

I have done SOME editing to the film to try and make certain scenes move along a little faster, and will continue to do that if I continue the series. And you are right, the concept may NOT be interesting to everyone and may bore some people; my hope is that it WILL appeal to die hard music fans who also happen to love Star Wars.

deej, I'm not a huge rock 'n roll fan, but I think this is a fun approach to the film.

In the essence of saving time, you could try paring down especially the conversation scenes even more. It's amazing how even taking out at least a few seconds of footage can help the tempo. (I mean it was one thing to include the entire scenes when there was dialog going on, but they can be shortened even more since there is "only" music.)

How can it be a waste of his time if it is something he enjoys doing?

A) deej is just taking a new, creative approach to the film

B) sometimes it's nice to try something new and different, even if, in the end, it doesn't turn out as expected

C) there is personal satisfaction involved. Many creative people approach a project for their personal fulfillment. If others enjoy it, too, that's the bonus! :-)

(I hope you don't think I'm being mean here. I'm just pointing out other criteria.)

Thanks melinda, and youre right: Im doing this for MY fun, and I hope others get into it with me and like it but I totally understand if many people do not like it, it is NOT gonna be something that appeals to everyone, even if they love Star Wars.
