Being deaf is certainly not a handicap. Jodi is a great character. She's the perfect person to bring Bette out of her shell and that's why she is there. Communication is so important, adding a complexity is just good writing. Bette and Jodi communicate wonderfully and their relationship was beautiful and necessary. As for those with a problem with gays and lesbians... Who cares? No one asked for your shallow opinions and they are irrelevant regardless. If you don't like lesbians, don't watch.

I like Tibette because no matter what they could do things together. It is obvious to see how Jobette lack communication and Jodi is always doing what she wants to do. For example that party, Bette wanted to leave and she said just leave. Dinner party Jodi told Bette to not come. If they are a couple they have to do things together not all the time but every now and then. They are doing things seperately. Tibette have great communication and when you see them together u know they belong together

When I went school many years ago, you were the disabled person if you could not understand sign language/deaf people, as there was a deaf and dumb centre their we all went school and played together. Deaf people have a great advantage being able to lip read. And they were the stealthiest to sneak up on people, great fun.

it seems that kookoo78 has probably been hurt by or seen someone being hurt by these narcissistic lesbians....the thing is instead of hating these kinds of lesbians, maybe they should be a part of the solution to the problem. For example: Learn sign language, and encourage others to do so. Honestly, if i was able to communicate with a mute or deaf chick, and she happened to be attractive and nice, id so hook up with her!
