I recently bought "Sexy Curves" by Rimmel...it's supposed to both curl and volumize. I absolutely love it and for the price (about 7.50) you can't really beat it. Covergirl Lash Blast is pretty cool too (the price isn't too shabby either)

it has a SUPER thick brush which is good for volume and it also lengthens.

its 18 dollars at sephora, but its still a good amount in the tube

I really like Shiseido Volume Mascara paired with the Shiseido Mascara Base (primer) It will lengthen, thicken and curl, but can get a bit spidery, if you wiggle the wand while applying - you should just brush it through from root to tip, no wiggling ;P

I can really recommend it! It is VERY waterproof, though, and can be difficult to remove...

Givenchy works wonders for me at least, but all the same I have really thick lashes w/out mascara but even so it thickens them up a ton.

Diorshow mascara is also great but quite pricy.

Don't know if this has been suggested to you or if you have already tried it but I have heard great things about Covergirl lash blast mascara (I think they have two types now) I can't get it here in the UK but it should be easy for you to pick up.

Diorshow Blackout Mascara! I love it because my lashes are sparse but long. It's an intense black which is great for creating volume at the base of the lashes, doesn't clump, even now that it's running out. Also, it lasts a long time with a consistent gel-like feeling as you apply. Best of all it doesn't flake off in fall out along the day like other brands.

FRESH SUPERNOVA... its awesome it makes ur lashes thicker, longer, prettier, and doesnt clump for the most part almost at all. i have the SHITTIEST lashes and i use it and they look much much better in combination of course with a lash curlerrr! try it out! hope this helps, girlie :)

LOREAL VOLUMNIOUS MASCARA...AMAZING!!! it looks like I have false lashes on after I use that mascara! and dior show is amazing as well but its a bit pricey for me I still prefer Loreal over that one so try it out! :) pleez lemme know what you think of it! :)

l'oreal voluminous mascara has to be the best volumizing mascara :) i'm part asian and my eyelashes are really short and sparse but the l'oreal works wonders! plus i'm from NY too it's only like 9 bucks at some places :)

I use two - I apply Rimmel Sexy Curves intense black to define and seperate my lashes and then I add a coat or two of Maybeline Colossal Volume Express for volume and thickness. Adding the Rimmel first spots it from clumping. Another I have used is Clinique High Impact Mascara which is pretty good but I like the combo of Rimmel and Maybeline the best. HTH

my absolute favorite thickening mascaras are CoverGirl's Last Blast and Benefit's Bad Gal. They both really thicken, lengthen and curve my lashes without clumping. The Benefit wand is a little big for my eyes (i have tiny lashes at the corner and it's hard to get them) but the mascara's awesome.

also there's a bourjois one (can't recall the name--possibly maxi-frange?) its got a primer end as well....i found that one made me look like i had false lashes on, so a bit ott for everyday but otherwise good... there's another bourjois one i think is really good--coup de theatre, but its more for lengthening.

I love Diorshow, but $24 for a tube of mascara is pretty steep. I recently found Maybelline Full n' Soft and I'm pretty impressed. Also try Volum'Express, just the plain kind. Not turbo, not collosal, just the original one in the navy blue tube. And be sure to tell us which one you decide on. Love the videos, btw!

My recommendation for mascara would be Max Factor False Lash Effect.

My hair color is ashy blonde, so my eyelashes are really light and also short, so this stuff is great for me!

I hear there's a Cover Girl mascara that's very similar, but where I live we don't have Cover Girl.

Max Factor is a bit expensive for me, but it's great!

If you don't mind using two mascaras, I recommend Maybelline's Full n' Soft mascara and then apply Cover Girl's Lash Blast over it!

It really gives a false lashes effect :D

The best mascara in my opinion is Shiseidos Lasting Lift. Being a makeup artist my self, I have tried every mascara out there and that one is my ultimate favorite. Warning though, its a bitch to take off. I use my Shu Uemura cleansing oil and it does the job well.

Also can you post where we can purchase the purple shadow you used?

I love Cover Girl lash blast as well, i decided to get Maybelline's Lash Stiletto or whatever its called, at first i wasn't too sure about it, but now i love it! but the last blast is my absolute favorite! :D

I've been using Avon Supershock mascara for a while now; it has a rubbery wand, not the usual one (like what you're using in the video). I love it! It keeps my lashes separated, but I still love the way it makes them look!

Love, love, love the look. I use L'oreal Voluminous and it is very thickening. As long as you comb through your eyelashes and wipe off the excess product before you use it, it will not clump and gives the closest effect to fake eyelashes that I have found.
