To those who say english is hard to learn, every language is hard to learn when it's not your main one. I am french and seriously, French is MUCH harder than english to learn. French comes from latin... English from a diffirent one but in the end, it all looks the same. So who cares if she's not perfectly english speaking, you understood her right? Get over it.

If you're French then you can't say it's hard to LEARN. I'm part Canadian French and Native American. French isn't too hard and it's my second language, I'm still learning but I can understand pretty much anything said outloud to me.

I agree with you, I'm learning French as a second language and it is more difficult to learn.

People just have an endless capacity to moan about things that aren't really important, like 'perfect' english, despite the fact that english was originally devised as a means of communitation for two people that didn't speak the same language.

English is not hard when you're in the area where they speak the language. I can see why it's a little difficult for her, but English isone of the easiest languages. If you are American/English, you have no right to say it's extremely hard because you never had to learn it when you realized you were learning it. For being in Sweden, if she is, she speaks it well enough.

english IS in the fact the hardest language to learn besides chinese because of all the characters, figurative language ect. ect. And i do have a right to say it- just because I'm born in the US doesn't mean it was my first language- don't assume when you know nothing about me.

You seem to not know what you're talking about. Every language has a lot of figurative language. I am fluent in Russian and English, and I know both have a LOT of figurative language. Almost everything, in fact, is figurative. I was not assuming anything about you, nor whether you were born in the US or not.
