@tonybahu If you are uncomfortable asking for the carrier, yes of course you can guess simply by sending the same message to a multitude of popular carriers (i.e. AT&T, verizon, t-mobile, etc.) and the one that goes through is clearly the correct one.

Ok so here's the question. I just purchased this app. When I try to send a txt it obviously sends it as an e-mail as stated. However, it bounces back the failed 'Mail Delivery Failure' message. Are they still getting the texts regardless of this???? I see the same error messages in your video. Does that mean it doesn't work???

@tonybahu The reason you are getting the error message is because you must not have the carrier set up correctly for the recipient. The default for all contacts is AT&T, so if the recipient is not on AT&T you will need to modify the carrier in the app. You can do this by going to "Contacts" -choosing the contact- then selecting the carrier at the bottom where it shows AT&T.

this app sux. i m not trying to b rude but just trying to help. don't buy this app its $5! and its not worth it. every time u send a text u have to start all over again. plus for me it doesn't import any contact. just stick with typing the message. -.- this should b free.

You must not have read the app description clearly. Voice Text Pro DOES send SMS texts, the recipient receives everything as a regular SMS text message. Yes it goes out as an email, but the recipient doesn't get an email. The fact it goes out as an email makes it FREE. Think about it, would you rather pay for every message or have it FREE? You make the choice which is more gay in your opinion?

well I was sckeptical about this App looks pretty neat ... so far it's got bad reviews so I will not be dowloading it... However I pose you with this .. How can you call this a hands free program when you have to send off your text messages as emails.. sorry man but this is not a complete hands free program.

Is this an actual Iphone app installed on the iphone, or a web app? For example, can I use the voice to text without internet connection?

Can it be used to input text into contact adres book? Or input notes into daily dairy?

It is an actual iphone app installed on the iPhone. No aspect of the application runs on any network. It is only used for sending text messages.

In the video, the narrator only says about three words at a time before pausing. Is it not possible to record, say, these two sentences without pausing 8 times?

Voice text pro does not suck if it is used properly. The speech recognition engine matches your voice to a contact in the address book and an unlimited number of text messages/phrases and sends it off as a free text message. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.

what about incoming text?

when i send it to my brother, how does he reply to my text? does he simply click on reply? does his response come back to my phone or to this app? i pay per text, i dont have plan because i dont text much, but this app would surely help me during driving. but i dont want to pay for incoming reply texts. please advise prior to my purchase

If he replies directly to an incoming text it will get sent to your email inbox on your iPhone or iPod. So you don't need to pay for incoming texts this way.
