Unfortunately, the strength of magnetic field decays as an inverse square law with distance. Furthermore, the inductive power transfer would not be able ot penetrate the wall (unless you had a conducting wall, but then you would electricute yourself to death before u charge your phone).

This tecnology exists over 100 years ago, faraday's induction law and tesla's high frecuency RLC resonance, like an air nucle transformaer with a strong coupling. This is nothing new, just we were too stupid to have the idea of selling them before. All modern electronics are much more complex than this. Martin Soljagic and his team did this same in 2006 and the great Tesla did this in 1912

I dont suppose you know anything about Inductive Coupling??? The average effiency for this type of technology is 50-74% however, do you know what the average effiency for most internal combustion engines is??? Its around 25%!!! So think about that...

induction is the way forward who wants to mess around pluging your phone in to charge when you can just use induction charging with a universal induction pad? if every one used them we would all just lay our battery operated things like phones ipods literaly anything that charges onto universal pads to charge . please fucking hurry up makeing the technology accessable!!

This technology is already used in the healthcare profession. Ever heard of pacemakers? Do you know how they are charged? Same stuff bubba. The Frequency of transmission is what has to be observed when wirelessly transferring power, and the frequency at which this is done does not pose a serious problem to biological matter.
