  • oops, i didn't read all your website info. check out manapotions(dot)com

  • Def not sped up vid, each round going out sounds the same as stock. The pitch would be higher as previously stated. If you do get the motor back in I suggest 2 things. Try to make some sort of heat sink to cool it and see if you can vary the voltage going to the motor. I think 38v is too much and isnt much faster than lesser voltages. Also try to accurately clock your rate of fire and contact mana potions company. I think they have a challenge for attaining 750 rpm.

  • Its not sped up ive done this mod myself

  • ...

  • if you didnt speed up the vid talk and ill believe you

  • dit anyone else have the problem that internet crashed for 3 sec after watching this video 0.o?

    tump up if it did

  • Hey did everyone notice there no 0:06?

  • you people are so stupid. if you add extra batteries to almost anything it will go faster. If i had added extra batteries to my airsoft machine gun it would shoot faster. if you added extra batteries to a gokart it would go faster. seee

  • 25 darts in like 3 secs

    \

  • Cool

  • minigun uh

  • The Vulcan cost $400,000 to fire for 7 seconds.

  • @biohazard724 12 seconds you mean

  • @jodoalien The clip is 7 seconds long. But at least someone noticed the joke.

  • owww i want to try it with a 100000000voltage and maybe it might shoot like a galating gun

  • if it shoots 25 darts,thats pretty average.25 rounds=average.50 rounds=getting better. 100 rounds in 20 seconds awesome!!but that was pretty good for 20 rounds

  • lol that is epic and it i'snt speeded up 'cause like he said it would change pitch and on the beggining it wobbles and it it were sped up it would shace really quickly. im not botherd on doing this though 'cause im to wourried to mod ot hack my vulcan, it costed me to mutch to waste. i'll just get another and hack that one :)

  • wow

  • he didnt he just speeded up his vid

  • @modernwarfare72000 The video is not sped up, the gun actually fires at that rate.

  • @AntonOlsen no kidding how do you do this hack again...

i really want to do it but i think it might melt my gun

  • @modernwarfare72000 he did not speed up

  • @modernwarfare72000 no its real...i did it....just add an rc battery pack and use tape or clips to hold the copper together...more batteries more power faster shots....its simple science

  • 10 bucks the left side of that thing is melted

  • @TOTALLYsup It didn't melt, but the motor self destructed on the next belt of ammo.

  • THAT IS SICK!!

  • vulcan after cracks

  • it did make a high pitch sound

  • @iceboy1671

that would be a motor tearing itself up from 3 9 volt batteries

  • surely you gotta upload a tutorial for this hot stuff! thumbs up!

  • i think thats how it should be made!

  • how to we know you didn't just speed up the vid?

  • @ThunderzEagle Because speeding up the video makes the pitch sound a lot higher, kinda like a chipmunk.

  • @AntonOlsen | Not if you use a program like Adobe Premiere Pro where you can select if you want it to maintain the audio pitch.

  • @AntonOlsen no the chipmunk is lie

  • @AntonOlsen no its not right but in some way you can do it........

  • @AntonOlsen I have no doubt that this video is real, but let me play devils advocate.

It is easy to speed up video while keeping the pitch the same. This function should be included in any production software you use.

  • wow

  • lol its weird i saw a 12v one and it shot slower

  • @dirtboy125

    12v = 12v

    9v + 9v + 9v = 18v

    18v - 12v = 6v difference

  • @CTproductions100

    The batteries were 9.6V so that's 28.8V

  • remove air restrictors

  • They fixed it like many many wires and on 220 Volts..

  • does it have battery's

  • @Palex617 It does not have any "battery's", but it does have a couple batteries.

  • @AntonOlsen like how many

  • @Palex617 Like read the description and other comments. I've said it more than once.

  • @AntonOlsen LMAO (ur batteries reply)

  • you know your going to melt your internals if you keep shooting it with that much energy, because of its plastic gearbox

  • can u make a vid showing how to do it later?

  • nice

  • where do you get the batteries

  • @HALOFREAK9715 They are standard 9.6V RC batteries.

  • holy shit man that just take my breath away......you are the smart one realllyy:)!!!!!!!you need to show me how you made that. thanks man, post me back when you get this:):):):)!!!

  • 25 rounds in 7 seconds!!! OMG!!!

  • what u should do is the belt mod cus u can buy nerf vulcan belts in stores but i dont know ho w m uch but u should buy like 3-4 and mod em so there like all 1 biug belt and then it would be ownage

  • That would be sick nasty in a nerf war!!!

  • this is real. Mana Energy drinks had a contest for the Vulcan and the winning video had a modded Vulcan. They show you how to mod it too

  • Lol r u sure this is real??

This looks like its sped up D:

  • Make a vid on how you made it able to use 9.6 volt batteries.

  • 6 D batteries have a net of 9 volts. Description says they are using 3 9.6v batters for a net of ~30v

  • hook it up to a car battery

  • holy crap due! that's wicked! I wish i had one.

  • it's easy exept australia is very hard to find the materials you need

  • you suck

  • make a huge chain

  • Now that's how Nerf should have made the Vulcan!

  • i agree

  • yeh do that like twice and the hole thing will break really quickly

  • ok, that wall-e is so cool can u made a vid for that wall-e

    PLZ !

  • huh.... you got in the background staying a homemade wall-e ??

  • @hitter27 Yes, made with VEX Mini metal.

  • hey can anyone tell me does the vulcan use batteries? cus im gonna buy it someday if i can and wht type of batteries does it use the normal size small size or bigg size or other batteries

  • 6x D batteries

  • @Firebuzan yes it does, it uses those big ones...

    6 of em

  • how did u make it go fast?

  • @XxReggaeKingxX Read the info...

Quick shot of the vulcan shooting with 3x 9.6V VEX batteries.

  • @oliverjoe1

No, I sped up the gun by using a higher voltage.

  • has it turned to liquid yet

  • Check out our nerf videos, they include reviews on nerf guns, exclusive deals that you can't miss out on, and so much more. Plus, head over to our site to get e-mail up dates on nerf recalls, new guns, and, when you comment on our videos, you get a free sub

  • thats fast!

  • Comment removed

  • Have you melted your vulcan yet?

  • IT LOOKS LIKE SOME DARTS DIDNT FIRE

  • it would be way more high pitch if fast foward, but i think this is legit, concidering the motor burned out at the end :P; ps, is it hard to convert engines? imagine throwing a petrol 1 in there XD

  • I'm considering putting a brushless motor and speed controller in it next.

The motor mount is about 1 1/8" diameter and 1 3/4" long. I squeezed a slightly larger DC motor in mine and it works well at 21 volts, but not as fast as I'd like.

  • vulcan on steriods

  • yeeeeehah! listen to those gears strip at the end. Oh and nice job how long did it take the motor to fry 30 seconds?

  • @flametank952 Yeah, about 30 seconds. The gears are still fine. I replaced the motor with a faster higher voltage motor and it is still going strong.

  • nope.

29V into a 9V motor really makes it go that fast.

It also makes it burn up after 3 belts.

  • It might look like it, but it wasn't.

  • i wanna get one and do that to it

  • they put a nerf maverick in"can microwave this" and the gun didnt melt,it actualy did a good mod to the gun so its most likly that it wont melt

  • one star for putting the camera on the wrong side of the gun :(

  • holy freak!

  • thats awem!

  • either you sped up the film or that is ona increadable vulcan

must be awesome with 500 darts (belt mod)

  • 500?

  • Yay , finally some-one who understands something about DC electronics.. Great work man, have you worked out what sort of aftermarket motor will replace the stock one yet??? could you use an RC motor and just dial down the speed control or do you think it would have too much torque and snap something?

  • I've got as far as ordering a bunch of motors the right size. So far only one looks close to working and I'm not sure it is fast enough.

I've considered a brushless RC car motor, but that would require a controller. Not impossible, but more expensive than I want to do yet.

  • Haha yeah true considering it is just a toy, I guess you wouldn't have to use a brushless motor, those cheaper (for younger kids) cars can still pick up quite a speed and most of the motors are 12v rated even though they only take the 9.6v pack, so you could easily get 24v into them no trouble ! I don't think the voltage will be your problem in reaching 500 rpm, I have a feeling the internals will start to give out before that... ahh the joys of modding XD

  • Nope, that is how fast the gun fires if you replace the 9V D battery pack with a 27V NiCad pack.

I pushed it a bit higher and the motor burnt out on the next belt.

  • if the batteries are too strong wont that melt the gun?

  • reply to thatch:yes partially

  • um what do you mean by partially do you mean like the hatch that holds it or the plastic around the motor?

  • i think the plastic around the motor oh yeh the motor might also burn out

  • yes it would

  • nope he did not wsjmovies read the description.

  • u should only use 2 packs cause its the samepower

  • 2 packs is the same power as 3?

I am wiring the batteries in series. 2 packs is 19.2V and 3 packs are 28.8V. I've since smoked that motor with 38.4V (4 packs) and I am testing some toy motors that are a little faster and are better able to deal with the higher voltage.

My goal is to top 500 rpm by a reasonable margin.

  • i am scared if my vulcan will melt, will it?

Amzing job and make a video on how to mod the baterry

  • dude u should mod your belt to be a 100 shot belt then it would be longer

  • I did the standard restrictor mods but haven't done more than that yet. So far the extra speed hasn't caused any parts to break, but I fully expect it too sooner than later.

I have a few more ideas, but they'll have to wait for the new year.

  • Hey, I did this to my vulcan too. But I

broke a piece while firing it. After close

inspection I found that the rod used to rotate the barrel was too weak for the job.

I bought a new gun and modifed this part

with a metal brace and it hasn't broke yet.

Besides the batteries did you mod any of the

    parts for firing the darts???
