LMFAO @ 5:13 when Oswald accidentally swallows the mouse and got him out of him. By right, rabbits don't mice or any animals because rabbits are natural vegetarians. Hope Mickey doesn't see that for Oswald's sake.
The mouse got arrested for stealing the Statue of Liberty. That was very unpatriotic of the mouse to steal one of the USA's symbolic icons. The mouse must be traitor or comes from a foreign country.
@gaara1227 it wasnt Walt disney's fault, though. you know that right? if you don't, well the story is that a different company stole oswald because supposebly it looked like Walt Disney was copying from some other character. [bugs bunny, another bunny named oswald, idk] so it was stolen. to replace him, disney created mickey mouse.
Walt Disney negotiated a budget raise for the series, but producer Charles Mintz (who owned the rights to Oswald) not only asked Walt to cut down the budget, but also told him that all of his animators (at the exception of Ub Iwerks and junior artist Les Clark) were tied to a new contract via his brother-in-law George Winkler behind Disney's back, which would exclude Walt from the Oswald series.
@Tijopi11 No, Disney created Oswald while working at another company, so Oswald was that company's property, not Disney's. When he left over budget issues and other things, he had to leave Oswald behind because he didn't technically own him.
Also, what on earth is Oswald doing with his tongue at 4:42? It reminds me of a meat grinder and it's kind of creepy.
@drybowserman9091 It was in his contract that the company would own whatever he created while working there. That's fairly normal for creative companies, and you can't just sue a company because you want something they own, even if you were involved in creating it. Besides, he didn't have much money and could easily create another character. Which he did.
