@kurianvt28 Bro, The new dam is likely to be constructed in lower ground level than the current dam location. so its not possible to store water more than 90 feet. and also the new dam is constructed only for electricity generation i.e., from which water will be released all the year so it cannot be used for irrigation purpose(irrigation needs water only at the right time of a year - not all the time). Supreme court has analyzed dam is very safe and it can even withstand earth quakes.

If there were rivers flowing,dams wud be built.Dont give advice u illiterate fool.Do u have any idea of the perennial problem of droughts in TN.Kerala should devise better ways to use rain. danger to life is just a gimmick.Obey what the court says.Experts say that the dam is safe and TN has done/will do everything possible to keep it safe as it needs it equally.only the Construction of new dam will create bio-diversity issues and no water for TN.and y do u expect TN to pay karnataka u son of a
