We should consult the guy who arranges this song and ask the reason, but other than that it's a beautiful arrangement (and a nice breakaway from the oh-too-usual metal/techno remix of Nuclear Fusion).

@angelmutsumi: I generally stay away from the techno/metal circles, which are the pretty mainstreams ones, especially rock. Although I like rock remixes, I generally stay with piano and orchestrated compositions, you'd be surprised if you get around the place, you'll realize most of the touhou fanbase is more musically inclined than you think.

This is a Turkish tambûr. And to be honest, this song doesn't even sound Egyptian. Its sounds Levantine/Turkish (because of the tambûr).

Some background which the picture is very appropriate for this song. Djedefre is the Egyptian Pharaoh who was the son and immediate successor of Khufu. He ruled under the title "SUN OF RA," Ra being the solar god. The title itself in hieroglyphics is a duck and little sun to represent the personal name. A crow seems much more fitting though. Well done, sir.

Heh, I kinda find it a bit funny. The song sounds like a Middle Eastern/Egyptian sort of song, and then there's the term "djed" in the name. I'm a tad rusty on this, but I believe the djed is an ancient Egyptian symbol representing stability, and associated with the Ankh and the Was. Kinda clever, even though I personally would call Utsuho anything but stable, in more ways than one.

Anyway, really unique and awesome arrange of my second favorite Touhou song, thanks for uploading!
