Do you know how many kids from holly are currently going to school of mines or have graduated from there. i am a junior from holly and am going to go 11 more years once i graduate from holly to become and orthodontist. my brother is attending school of mines and is a semester ahead because of holly high. lucky us over here our class rooms are fine the seat you sit may be padded but is the education going to your ass holly may not be the richest town but i'm sure as hell we are better than you!
More money spent on buildings and landscaping doesn't make for a better education. I graduated from Holly in 1983, and it was one of the better schools academically in the area.
I spent a lot of time in Syracuse as well, as I had several good friends that went to school there. I don't remember them being any smarter than me though.
Holly's education is not affected by the looks of the school. The students do not rely on fancy lockers, computers, or playgrounds to be well educated!!
Sad thing is, in america, we tell our kids that they have a chance to be anything they want to be, but we dont tell them how much of a chance. LMAO, hell, how do say to a kid who goes to school in Holly that he or she has the same chance after showing them what school districts with more money get, its not the same, so the poor little small town kid gets out in the workforce, or attempts to go to college, and is far behind the k id from the other school districts. FOR SHAME AMERICA
Wow, I've never been to that part of the country, but that's sad how much one school district has versus a neighboring school district. Either Holly doesn't have much money, or the town just resents progress. I understand hanging on to the historical value of a building, but it's not worth ruining a kids chance at a good and modern day education.
Wow that's pretty cool, I graduated from Syracuse High and took everything we have for granted...I mean I've attended school in syracuse all my life...it's amazing how different things are over there...lucky us over here.
