@hitmeupcalistyle - It's true this song is originally written and sung by an American person, however, I think it is ignorant for you to say that Cambodians are butchering the song when you probably don't understand the song in Khmer. American songs are remade throughout the centuries by other American and some even "butchered" the song, but that doesn't stop them from trying to sing it. Have some respect.

@0025683012 They are not Khmer. I lived in Cambodia. These are mulatto (Caucasian/Negro) women. Khmers with dark skin resemble half Asian / half East Indian people... like many of the people in Mynamar, Nepal, etc.. There is no way these women are Khmer or Cambodian!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm sorry, i'm cambodian too but I don't agree that the cambodian version is as good as american one. I can feel the pain in english version but i can feel the pain when sokun nisa sings it. Don't get me wrong that khmer songs not good. There are khmer songs that I think are good but definitely not this one.

i'm sorry, i'm cambodian too but I don't agree that the cambodian version is as good as american one. I can feel the pain in english version but i can feel the pain when sokun nisa sings it. Don't get me wrong that khmer songs not good. There are khmer songs that I think are good but definitely not this one.
