I really wanted to like this movie, but they completely raped the Greek mythology this is supposedly based on. Not only did the "gods" look like they were barely old enough to drink, but what the hell was up with the Titans? And the fact the movie didn't even mention the fact Theseus was borne of Poseidon really irked me. They could've done so much more with this.

2:03 I don't like the depiction of Greek gods, those golden armors. They just look deities, good face, but their combat moves are like in a contemporary mainstream teen's marshal arts movie. The only good Greek mythology movie is the Jason and the Agronauts.

How the hell is this getting Bs and Cs? This movie failed. It was just a mash up of 300, Clash of the Titans, and The Matrix. Yeah, it was fun, it was fucking hilarious (especially the God scenes),but it was just another piece of shit that puts so much faith in visuals and actions, they forget to write decent dialogue and an interesting story. There was no originality at all, cliche lines were made more cliche by repitition. I give it a D- only because Last Airbender set the bar so low.

I saw it last night and would give it a B. Considering the tons of unwatchable garbage that comes out Hollywood these days, I enjoyed this. The visuals were beautiful and the 3D was used well, not overkill. The acting rode the line of over acting, but never quite fell over that cliff which helped. Just don't go in expecting it to be like 300, and you'll enjoy.
