The ocean also has great support, its easy to work around and has access to Helio Player.

Helio partnered with virgin mobile, and has somewhat of a small service range (i never loose calls but often dont have service where other services may). The phone its self is very easy to learn and work around, its set up so you can get through all the options as speedily as possible. It has loud speakers, you can send your own free ringtones to yourself (through a small but fairly simple process).

The sidekick sucks. Helio ocean was a great phone for its time. It is still better than most. If it had a touch screen people would have nothing to complain about. The ocean has way more features and it is a whole lot cheaper to use the features. Ocean wins hands down.

T-Mobile doesn't offer it anymore because that phone came out in 2005, and it was replaced by the newer Sidekick LX. Why would you want the Sidekick 3 anyway?

The plans for the Ocean vary, you can check them out on Helio's website at helio(dot)com. Yes, both the Ocean and the Sidekick 3 and LX come with AIM.
