  • What's the weight of the "weight" he is using in the end?!?!?!?!?

  • tsch tsch tsch tsch tsch tsch spiderman spiderman doing oblique twist with a medicine ball

  • My comment below, it said it started from a "PLANK POSITION" by the way. & then slowly lift your leg, etc etc. Sorry. Cant delete my own comments.

  • "Slowly lift your left leg and draw your knee in toward your chest, then twist to your right side and attempt to touch your right elbow with your left knee. Return to the plank and repeat the move with your right leg. To make it harder, drop down for a pushup while you do the twisting motion." . . . That's what I got when I looked up "Oblique Twists". . .

  • Isn't this the russian twist? Wah, I'm confused.

  • .. you can have great abs without the need of going to the gym, drugs, or exhausting yourself with cardio.. search and watch this here in youtube and you'll see what i'm talking about: *homme-made buffed

... if my vid do help you in anyway.. i hope you give credit to where credit is due.. thanks

  • i love this excecise :)

  • how old is he?

  • Actually, the reason you see his legs moving back and forth is because of the conservation of momentum... it's unavoidable unless you specifically try not to.

  • Scott, thanks so much for your videos.

  • you know what bothers me about this type of crunch, my upper body weighs much mroe than my legs and i just tend to fall backwards and i dont have much thats heavy enough to keep my feet down

  • @MacGasco mate that is wrong most peoples upper body is heavier then their legs whats wrong is your abdominals aren't strong enough to support your body weight in other words you need to do less advanced stuff in order to stop that from happening

  • @vince1389

LOL i know right who the fuck owns those?

  • 0:57 Yeah, fuck the medicine ball!!!

  • t shirt?

  • How many reps would you suggest for this exercise?

  • @abird321 20-30 reps for abs exercises..each set..if u cant do that many, work ur way up to it..

  • I love this exercise! It's my favorite part of practice.

  • Im going to use my Building Code book... :|

  • I sometimes bring my feet higher because i can feel a extreme burn in my lower abs that way, sombody else do it this way?

I started working my abs and checking my dieet in juli, got a Six-pack by now! This excersise is one of my favorites! :)

  • Question: Is this useful for men who want to look wider or this is only for women who want to lose weight?

  • @ClickForOutkast your question is incredibly retarded

  • @sdfefde Thanks for the answer.

    "You lack knowledge"

    "LMAO UR SO RETARDED"

  • tsch tsch tsch tsch tsch i love it hahah wish i could breath like that in my gym without ppl looking me like tard

  • @Stodanapisem i do that when i'm struggling with the rep. it helps a lot

  • Handsome trainer. Thanks for your good tips!

  • Aren't you supposed to keep the ribcage stable? That's what I thought. Also, does where you position the weight along the torso region affect which areas are being worked the most?

Yeah, I prefer using a plate or a dumbbell as well. Thanks, nice instruction.

  • whats the noises during the exercise???

  • @drzohaibakram3792 Breathing ^ ^

  • @drzohaibakram3792 its his way of breathing throughout the excersises he is doing.

  • @drzohaibakram3792 helps get the oxygen out of your body father

  • @drzohaibakram3792 tzhh! tzhh!

  • @drzohaibakram3792 i go to Planet Fitness (14 and have to pay for it), and i cant make those noises

  • @drzohaibakram3792

He makes the noises to signify when to breathe out during exercises.

  • @drzohaibakram3792 Many people who work in the gym. Get sofocated b4 their muscles note the work on them. And thats bcause many of them doesn´t know how to breath. One of the funtions of this noise it´s to coordinate both things.

  • @drzohaibakram3792 breathing spastic ya know what people do too live ergghhhhh TARD!

  • @drzohaibakram3792 you need to do proper breathing thats why

  • @drzohaibakram3792

I think it's the sound that's making you JELLY....you MAD?

  • @drzohaibakram3792 he is breathing out

  • would we be doing this to failure? and how many sets?

  • i use all of this shit lol

  • so cool dud i can feel the burn hahaa thanx

  • Heyy, Scott just a few questions

    1. Is it better to a cardio before a weight workout or after?

    2. Should I cut down on carbs at dinner?

    3. Is it okay to do a weights workout in the morning and jog in the evening of the same day?

    4. What's the fastest way to get rid of belly/waist fat? Because my entire body is kinda toned, but my tummy :( It's damn funny actually!

    5. In order to get rid of belly/waist fat, should I concentrate on cardio more?

    Thanks a lot!

  • @Dimescream

    1. you should do your cardio and weight workout on separate days. because if you do cardio 1st, you will use up most of your energy, and vise versa.

    2. it's ok to eat lots of carbs if you're trying to get bigger

    3. no problem with that as long as you have a rest after the weight workout

    4. go into scott's channel and watch his oblique workouts

    5. during your cardio days you should also do oblique exercises. this will burn fat a lot better

  • @CoffeeBeatsTea Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions! Yes, I will follow all of your answers to best I can. I have been concentrating a little more on cardio these days (because I'm only into fitness and toning; not bodybuilding), and the results have been amazing! There's the belly fat that has to be worked on a little more; but, on the whole, I feel great! :) Thanks once again! :)

  • @Dimescream Cardio is KEY to losing the fat in the stomach area. Doing ab exercises will not cause you to lose fat there.

  • Oblique workout is the same as a Middle-ab workout right?

  • @Dimescream There's no middle abs, it only upper and lower abdominals. The oblique workout is done to work out the muscles to the sides of the abs right around the rib cage area

  • @musicgetto So you're saying that the "middle abs" are actually a part of the side obliques?

  • @Dimescream No, the muscles are separated this way: upper abs, lower abs, and obliques (side abs). To work out the obliques requires you to do side crunches or side twists or any exercise that really engages the sides.

  • This is a really good workout for core. i recommend this for anyone

  • This is a great exercise man! sure beats dull standing twists. This is the kind of intense exercise I've been looking for. Thanks a lot dude!

  • How can a man be THIS handsome, THIS well-built, THIS well-spoken, and THIS nice ? I love you Scott !!!

  • Drugs...

  • hey scott i have excess body skin and im trying to lose it can you help??

  • thank you scott!!!! you are so helpin me out!!!

  • when i do this exercise with the plate, i purposely move my feet from side to side. is that ok?

  • Hey what would you most prefer to use for obliques?

Like which workouts show the most results?

I've been trying my own techniques and have grown into them, and now it's time to add variety.

  • i like ur sense of humor Scott. keep it up! haha

  • man how can i loss weight

  • Hey one of the youtubers said that that is the recipes for lower back injury:(

  • Scott I am sorry but do you have other then this short?

  • i like the ball better cause you can bounce it on each side, so u know both muscles are getting the same exact burn and u also get more twist from the bounce

  • this dude is from real world: brooklyn

  • Missed this vid somehow. Glad I finally caught it!

  • i did this last night, now I know how to do it the right way, Thanks Scott.

    -One love

  • Quick question, do you know of a free to use vitabot-like meal planner? or do I have to pay the 9.99 to get an answer... cuz you couldn't handle my food requirements!

  • Help Please,

I have a question, someone told me to eat like a fat ass so I can gain weight by next summer "20 pounds", but I just started using protein powder also, and I haven't been the hungry, i even cut cardio out unless I play basketball, why am I not so hungry?, another question i have when i'm drinking my protein powder I notice i'm drinking fast I donno why be eh should I slow down is it bad to drink it fast, and I heard creatine is a waste is that true?

    Help please

    Thank you

  • Well i know the "not hungry" feeling is being caused by your protein supplement. You're feeding your body all these nutrients so it's natural for it to tell you its not hungry. I was told to fight that feeling and eat 5-7 meals idea as best I can (2-3 hours, size of your fist).

  • Dude what's your diet?

  • would you say its better to do these at a fast pace?

  • hooray for mason twists

  • i do this one with a ball and i keep my feet off the floor is that the wrong way or just the way you do it ? but good video i didnt know you could put your feet one the ground

  • I have a thick chest.. How can i make that a little flat..I mean reduce the mass on my chest.

    cool

  • Man, what workout did you do to get that ripped?! Abs & Obliques are the only muscles i wanna tone up.. biceps & triceps I just wanna sculpt, not make huge. Let me know!

  • At-a-boy!

Just hadn't given you an at-a-boy yet so I thought I would this time.

    To review: At-a-boy!

    Cheers mate.

  • Hey Scott, tried to do this at the gym...its difficult...ended up with a sore bum. But had fun tryin'! I prefer doing 'em on an incline bench, good grip on the feet...of course this is easier! So I am going to continue the way you showed here, its surely more beneficial...and my butt better get used to it!! I like the weight too..though love the way you flick/toss off the ball...so macho...oh...

  • Ooo, yeah. That would be nice. Like how to lose neck fat.

  • Hey Scott, your videos are awesome! I think you should continue doing more GYM videos and how to use equipment, etc. There are lots of home exercises already on youtube but not nearly enough gym ones (but your home&gym ones are good too).

  • Interesting equipment ;)

  • Another great one!! I love watching theses!!

  • I started to do all the abs exercise that you've been teaching this week. I also just start to workout again, how many sets do you reckon I do for each exercise? and how many per set? thanks Scott!

  • another good home exercise again! but i 'm doing it

  • Scott will you marry me?

  • 5 starts for sound effect and muscular legs. I have done this before on bootcamp class and it does requires that you build your strenght but it does work. Great Vid Scott.

  • I have a hard time supporting my neck when I'm working on my abs. What's a good way to make sure I'm not straining my neck? Thanks Scott!

easy exercise to learn & looks difficult to stuff up

    - love the way you fling weights & balls around when done with them btw - always makes me laugh , Im guessing in an empty gym late at night that's not a problem but wouldn't they be shouting at you normally?! I know my gym staff would!! :)

  • You got skinny SCOTT!!!

  • Comment removed

  • its not working for me either its says an error has occured, please try later

  • I just had to refresh after I got the error the first time.

  • this video is not working for me =/

  • me >_>

  • Comment removed

  • it doesn't work for me either... currently today everything is not working for me... shit day

  • It's working fine for me.

  • Great Video bro. I've already been doing those when I'm at the gym. The only difference is that I'm on a decline bench and it's part of a complete routine. I make sure that I'm at a near 45 degree angle from the floor when I'm on the decline so I can stretch the abs. Is there a big difference between doing the oblique twists on the floor compared to on the decline bench?

  • it is saying error for me :(

  • First comment :)

  • no i'm first:d
