  • When i worked in MT P i saw dolphins in the creek behind the golf greens all the time.I now live in harleyville and by looking at your site yall find lots of fossils a few miles from here.Good luck to all yall do

  • Now this has probably been asked a thousand times, but did Native Americans use shark teeth for arrowheads? I'm sure they were used for jewelry and such, but man, some of those teeth just seem too perfect for hafting onto a shaft. Thanks man, killer river session, neat seeing the dolphin!

  • @touchnova i have seen them used as jewelry and ceremonial items, but i have never seen a shark tooth used as a spear or an arrowhead. that doesn't mean it didn't happen. i think the reason was because Indians couldn't shape them they way they could with other materials.

  • nice dolphins! I've had them follow me along the beach a few times while metal detecting...I think sometimes they actually watch us.
