These are really cool fans. They have the steepest, most exaggerated pitch of any desk fan model. I love mine and I think that the original "Darth Vader" style Westinghouse Power Aire is the finest fan they ever made. Yours was made in 1936-1937. After that, they changed over to the newer style Power Aire's which I don't like. Yours looks to be the ten inch model. They made them in 10", 12"←my favorite, and 16", all sizes of these I have, along with a direct current 10".
@NathanH5 I couldn't agree more. The fan is so quiet, yet puts out a tremendous amount of air. This is really the most beautiful fan I've EVER owned. The sound of the blades is so peaceful; actually, I just woke up from SLEEPING to this fan. Nicest, deepest sleep in a while. Also proves how well built it is; It ran for 9 hours non stop, and is STILL running fine. I also love the styling, and it actually is a 10" fan, not a 9" like I thought.
