Remembering this number from O. P. kept it's place for weeks in Binanca Geetmala. I had not even entered in my teens yet..............those were the days........
GEETA DUT she has credit that singer like ASHA copied her and made her style of singing forever this is the composition of the only MAGICIAN yes i am talking about OP NAYAR and rafi saab tou aik hee thay 03332604292
Asha tried to sing like Geetha in Mangu also OP's music. Released in 1954, just before Aarpaar, Mangu was the first film of Nayyar, in which he actually changed his trend of his earlier films like Aasmaan, Baaj, Mr. Lambu which were comparative failures. Of course, Mangu was also a flop but, wonderful songs, especially, 3, Jara pyar karle of shamshad, Man more gaa, and dol mere man pyarse both of Asha. I am also a die-hard fan of OP right from my childhood.
Thanx for uploading music. I could not find this clip anywhere, let alone music. However, it would be great to see the picturized segment on this song,if
The seductive voice of Geetha is unforgettable in this song. Many thanks for uploading.

There was no Pakistan or Bangladesh when Geeta ji was born in 1930. It was just one country, India, under the British rule.
