my school has a club called the quidditch for muggles and halarious to see them running around with platic brooms between there legs and a kid chasing a kid with a yellow shirt (yellow kid was suppose to be the snitch).
the american version is the sorcerer's stone. But in the rests of the versions, like the Spanish or the British one, its still Harry Potter and the Philospher stone

the way it is now, the seeker is the only pllayer that matters. the quaffle game means absolutely nothing if the seeker can make a single play that is worth 15 goals and win the game even if his team is down by 14 goals. jk is a stupid bitch.

@jch010 I wouldn't call what those universities do stupid, though. It's the precursor to exactly what you're talking about. It IS the same thing, just without the technology. But the technology will evolve, and it'll totally turn into exactly this. So I wouldn't call what they're doing stupid. Plus, it's totally turning into something big (I'm joining my school's team.) I see it as the new sport of the century. So don't squash the caterpillar, 'cuz you'd be squashing the butterfly too... Js. :)

Some reasons that Quidditch isn't in the Muggle world:
Brooms don't fly (Oh, how I wish they could)
Balls don't fly after you.
You could get knocked off your broomstick and plummet from a very high height, which could conclude to a very dreadful happening.
I wish we were actually magic, >;o

It wasnt changed for the film, when the books came out originally U.S. was titled sorcerers stone and Europe was philosophers stone.
