Mablung sword is also able to "activate" the shield powers... I prefer the Medusa shield, it needs only one attack to defeat Dracula.

For the record, a lot of people think that the Alucart shield doesn't do anything. Actually it does almost the same thing that the Alucard shield does.

You gotta appreciate the level of detail they did for this game. They had an effect for EVERY shield. Even unmemorable shields like Goddess Shield and Iron Shield have their Shield Rod effects and each one is unique. Granted yeah some of the effects are overpowered, especially Alucard Shield which basically lets you kill anything. If you want a challenge, well, don't use the shield rod.

It's a drop item of the Malichi, or however u spell it. It's called the dark shield.

The other drod item is dark mail.

Es simple, tienes ke tener el arma Shield Rod ke está en el Coliseum del castillo normal. Usas esa arma en una mano, i con la otra usas un escudo, para sacar los poderes aprietas los botones al mismo tiempo de mano (no ze ke botones sean XD) y sale automaticamente i listo ^.^

You can set certain restrains in order to make the game more challenging, like only use a certain weapon ( if you want an extremely hard time just use the red rust =P ) or not equipping anything at all. =P

It's a floating shield that will stop enemy projectiles. Not the most useful thing, but useful if you have trouble timing your shield usage.
