Good effort. Just some suggestions... The seasoning is over done. The crispness of the channa daal, groundnut etc can be better preserved if the seasoning of these is done separately and added in the end. Otherwise remove the crisps out and then add the tamarind extract. This goes best with crisp paapadams rather than with any chutneys. Do post more of these traditional south indian recipes. :)
