  • Nicely played, I also play this beautiful Steve Crowell arrangement. But, with all respect, you play a small mistake ;-) In the bridge (measures 17 and 21) you start 1 quarter note to early. In measures 17 and 21 You first have to play the low E and then the D#maj9-Emaj9 chords etc. This causes a 'shift' in the melody in the bridge. But otherwise nicely played! It's good to know there are more people playing these great Steve Crowell arrangements. All the best, Aad Overeem (the Netherlands)

  • @Blijdenstein Thk U for ur comment... Im not practising Chord Style since a long time and I know Im still doing somes mistakes. Anyway I enjoy trying to plat S.Crowell arrangements. Have a nice day. JB

  • HI Cliff.. Thanks for your comments and happy to share this interest with you. For me its a real pleasure to practize S.Crowell arrangments!

  • At last....I found someone after all these years that appreciates Steve Crowell. Interestingly enough I've been a big follower of his and happen to have all four volumes of his Jazz Standards in Chord Style. Thanks for excellent remditions of his arrangments. I'll be watching for more postings. Thanks again.

    Cliff
