Nostalgia is what this song gives me. I miss the old days of when Nintendo was just a small company starting out. I miss N64 and all the old games for it like this one. I miss the old 8-bit and 16-bit games of side scrolling. I kept my N64 with me all these years, never wanting to sell it. It's not just a game console, it's my childhood. I am part of the newer generation. I didn't grow up with this game, but I remember finding the GameCube version in the basement when I was about nine, thinking it looked pretty good, and trying it out, then discovering the best game I'd ever played. Every time I play it now, years later, I know no other game will compare to it. Ever. The Legend of Zelda is just that - legendary. And I know it will stand the test of time and later generations will think the same thing. Long live this game.

Nintendo was so good back then. The games were fantastic. And the consoles didn't break easily. Unlike my xbox, that just decided to stop reading discs. Who's idea was it to screw up the wii? it could have been good, throw in some better graphics, and maybe some Legend of Zelda, and hey, we'd be set. but no, instead we have a small box that can barely manage to play Twilight Princess. Oh well, hopefully nintendo will come back and save the day once more.
