Is there any way to remove previously added watermarks? If I downloaded it with a watermark already on it, can I get rid of it or hide it?

Not that you asked, but what I do (SOny Vegas 8 Pro) is create a new video track, put it up on top of all tracks, drop in a text clip, put my name in there "JoeCubicle", make it small, position it and drag the opacity down to about 25%. Takes 15 seconds. Not posting this to show off or contradict your method, it's just what I do. However, my approach is limited to pretty much just text and the fonts you have loaded.

you can't remove a watermark from a video u dont have the "editing files" from.

(= a video that isnt .veg or .wmv or something, but a video that's already rendered)

the only way I can think of removing it will leave you with a hole where the watermark used to be so yeah...
