Carbonite Addon

I have download the latest version of Carbonite and my WoW is lagging,can anyone tell me is it because I play on Private servers or what?

I have lost my flight path in CARBONITE... Now, when I track a quest... it just gives me grey arrows pointer directly to destination instead of using a flight path to get there faster... Can someone help me figure what setting I changed that made me lose that feature ???

if you look on the carbonite forums there is a temporary fix that will make the old one work until the new one comes out

I do realize that this is an old video, but I noticed that the estimated remaining duration of the flight goes down slowly when traveling slowly, and then fast when traveling fast. Apparently this was fixed at some point, so today (as of Carbonite version 3.33), it goes down steadily, one second at a time. Good job. I love Carbonite.

the map can be hard to use, there is a map in the map, but the ther features are cool

carbonite has. horde tracking, its own version of QH, mining and other profession maps, custom map, and an easy way to keep up with all your chars items.

Is carbonite similar to quest helper?....and if it is, is carbonite better than quest helper, i havent got a chance to try it

Yes Carbonite has a Quest-helper similar feature but it comes with much more so it is better.

Carbonite fulfill the same purpose as Quest Helper, but Carbonite are 666 times better.

carbonite is missing a lot of high end quest tracking spots, it has a thing similar to quest helper, but its slightly inferior

since the launch of 3.3 it really has suffered massively, its pretty much unreliable for most quests out in wrathland. I had a lot of quests it simply could not follow, because both the tracking and detail where wrong, its also got major bugs with profession tracking such as mines and herbs, it kind of chooses when to show you and when not even after setting it up properly. Definitely a major downgrade to previous versions and very sloppily implemented. sort it out please.

There has been a pay-to-use and a free version for a long time. The pay version obviously had a lot more stuff. Evidently, with the new add-on policy at Blizzard, the makers of Carbonite have decided to upgrade the free version to include most if not all the aditional content, because they're required to discontinue the pay version when 3.1 comes out.

with the new add-on policy at Blizzard, actually if you read their terms and conditions properly from the start to end, this has always been their policy.

No one shall attempt to charge for an addon or service for world of warcraft. The only reason most people spotted it at all is because blizzard made it kind of obvious even to the tards out there, it was against their terms and conditions. as for it being 3.1, I think you'll find it was right there in their own t&c from the very early patches

Up until today i was using Quest helper. QH uses about 61mb (that was last count) and Carb only uses max of 7mb. Plus for $14 A YEAR, you have an awsome addon.. I won't go back to QH. QH has way to many breaks.

I agree, I use to use QH in the past as well and it used way to much memory. Carbonite uses hardly any and is much better even the free version is better that QH.

Yeah, QH takes forever to load, even though I have 12GB of memory, and 4 cpu's... Now that Carbonite is free, you can't beat it.

It doesn't tell you the exact time when you're flying... It's almost longer than it says, because the time is gives is if the flight path flew in a straight line from point A to point B. Anyways, awesome addon. ineedakite, you have to pay for this? Like.... I have one version where it doesn't zoom in that far, just as far as the normal map. Is there a buyable version... I thought it was just a beta of a newer version... Dangit.
