BAD: You should have used blocks on the wheels that were on the ground. Not doing so, given that the back wheel looked to be off the garage floor (back half of car on sloped driveway), can lead to the car sliding off the jack stands. Yes, I'm sure you had the parking brake on but... why chance this?

The bar is a sprug steel bar, that is twisted as the car tries too lean in corners. The bar Scott installed is a larger Dia. bar with different steel compounds making it a stiffer bar to twist as the car leans in corners. It forces the weight of the vehicle to be spread across the front tires more evenly on turns. There by enhancing cornering stability on flat road surfaces. The problem comes in, when the car is cornering at a high rate of speed, and hits sudden uneven road surface. BAM!

The factory goes to great lengths, getting the stabilizer bar correct. To put a heavier bar on your car, is to change driving characteristics, in such a way, that it will become unstable in conditions your not used to. Stick with the factory bars, and be safe. Save your money, these aftermarket products are a big waste of resources. It will also, begin to over-stress the outside turning tires, wearing the edges, by excessively rolling the tires under. Years ago they didn't have stabilizer bars.

scott I hate to tell you, that only replacing the front bar, to a wider sway bar (which is what you did) no matter which setting your going to get more under steer.

I would assume they understeer on entry to a corner anyway, and oversteer on exit as standard. so your going to have more entry problems
