Great student... it's really true what they say, women are the better sex: They actually follow instructions, unlike us guys tend to do, and have the capability of being better than men at shooting (fine motor skills) -- yet by default they're afraid of guns. You are repeating yourself over and over again. When I was instructed in the service were shown a few times and then WE had to do the work NOT the instructor.

That way we learned the muscle memory NOT the instructor WHO ALREADY HAS the muscle memory.

muscle memory is the key to anything like this. I also teach martial arts and swords try putting your razor sharp sword back that you do not look at without muscle memory. you only do once or twice before your back practising on it with your non live blade. great video on this

How does this technique effect shooting from the hip, right out of the holster? For instance, if the attacker is closing the gap quickly or if you face multiple attackers from opposing directions and you must shoot, reposition and shoot again? Just curious if you train for this type of hip shot or if you discourage the hip shot completely? It was a fundamental part of my weapons qualification years ago as a L.E.O. so I would love to know your opinion. You two are awesome, Thanks for Posting!!!
