I had better sense. I only heard nightmare stories in the last few years cant understand why people would continue to work there. Laziness sometimes gets rewarded witha little shake up.
hi mate i am well interested in teachin in japan, will u sed us that video u promised wen u do it!! got some more practical questions.are u havin ne problems wid nova in ur area? hw much is rent generally per month or week wotver is easiest to work out?how much u gettin paid and how many hours? how much do u spend generally on food and bills.
Is the one part-time 5 to 9 job enough to cover basic expenses? What's teaching like, and do you have to create lesson plans or anything of that nature that involves, you know, work? Has NOVA been a good company to be with? The only other one I know of is JET, I dunno what the differences would be.
IMHO, I would strongly recommend going through JET your first time in Japan. The pay situation is slightly better and the organization is more suited to newbies. Most people come here originally on either JET, NOVA or ECC, and then after a year or two find one of the better jobs that are only locally availible.
