Wushu means martial arts in mandarin.

Shaolin kungfu is a kind of wushu only

no it's not wushu appeared in ancient China as early as 2,500 years ago.

the shaolin monks practice wushu mostly traditional wushu.they just call it shaolin kung fu

@wesly007 Actually its older. Martial Arts systems have been in China and the surroundign areas as long as 5,000 years ago.
