i have added your first timelapse to a new playlist i am gathering "the best timelapses on youtube. i have considerable traffic on my site because i promote my music videos a lot . your work is excellent i have subscribed...please subscribe to me to stay updated. i am currently editing a new timelapse video..
I just experimented doing the same thing last night (I know now not to trust the autofocus w/o looking through the finder...). Its pretty fun.. but your right its not the best way. I really gotta look into that software and connection for my nikon and cannon.
Remote Capture is the software for the canon. Attach the camera to the computer, load up Remote Capture, and select interval timer shooting and you can select various options.
that was 1 of the best time-lapse i've seen and it end toooo fast... where's the rest of the video? you had a perfect setting too!!! the clouds coming straight over head... n-I-E-e-c-e
Breath taking. We don't have anything near to that here in FL. Very nice

i wish we had somthing like that here in texas, look how ugly mine is.

This effect is not that common, you want a nice layer of high clouds over you, but it must be clear to the west so the sun can get below,

I've lived almost EVERYWHERE including Honolulu and Austin, but the most gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen were in Texas!

Nice video, many people don't realise that the Sun is actually more than 1.35 million times larger than the Earth and is almost 94 million miles away.
Very well done video.

The irony of this is that I was down ala moana beach taking photographs of this same sunset.

Are you sure it was the same sunset? This was taken a long time ago. There was another similar sunset 3 days ago but I missed it.

That was amazing! Did you use an SLR/Comp connection?

Thanks, on this one I was using a canon s40 and I think I took every picture using a stop watch, maybe every 10 seconds, not the best way.
