  • Huh. Must be some sort of server error or something. I mean no one could actually have disliked this could they? Definitely YouTube F@*#ing up. No other explanation.

  • i love this!!!!!

  • This is so good.

  • I feel incredibly privileged to have seen him at least 3 times live. He's also an amazing person to talk to, and treats with you respect (unlike so many mainstream musicians!).

  • great, makes you feel somewhere in a good place and safe...love it

  • What guitar does he use?

  • @GuitarRT , This is a Fender Stratocaster, and ray does understand all the spirit of this guitar! This just awesome!!!

  • @chrisssup2

I know, i have a mexican strat. i ment the specific type

  • Feels pretty Pink Floyd to me. Feels good man :)

  • this is great!

  • I liked the bootleneck on the end!

  • xmas 2 all...

  • cool. now where can I download this?

  • This band could be really good if Justin Bieber or Brittney Spears were on vocals.

  • @DuhEnlightenedOne I wish you are being sarcastic

  • @DuhEnlightenedOne You better not be serious

  • @DuhEnlightenedOne you deserve to be eaten alive by pigs for that comment.

  • @DuhEnlightenedOne BABY BABY BABY OH BABY BABY BABY NO BABY BABY BABY OH BABY BABY NO

  • @DuhEnlightenedOne I remember saying I wished mainstream music was this good...that kinda implies that mainstream music is NOT good...you really gotta start listening, man...

  • LOVE you guys. This is just amazing. Makes me feel like leaving my funk behind and dancing with you. Joy!

  • I got this song as my alarm :D

  • Pink Floyd influence I believe.....

  • Exelente sonido , exlelente compocision y exelente interpretacionion. ¡¡¡¡CONGRATULATION!!!!.

  • I love seeing them live. Every show is unique and a real treat!

  • so much passion. trying to do some accounting homework, but i'm staring agape at my computer screen instead.

  • so much passion

  • Absolutely incredible.

  • the start reminds me of carlos vamos...100%awesome

  • what kinda strat is that?

  • wow, this is meaningful, something rarely seen, steve vai and some other guitarists are just technicians, this is music, without a predictable pace, variations, movements of tone that flows so well into everything

  • Ray Ray Ray!

What amp/effects are u using. And u do have the touch...

    Amazing!!

  • I tell ya, the candy rat company will never steer you wrong, ever artist on that label(is it an actual label?) is absolutely amazing and skilled so far beyond what most of us could ever imagine to be. Artistry on guitar in its true form. This is where the soul comes alive people. Cherish it.

  • THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC

  • That's not that hard I guess. Just using a processor to make it over lap, than playing mildly, without much throwing energy into it. This guy is a master guitarist, for shur. lol

  • Oh Ray, my heart stopped beating for a moment. Now it is beating in rhythm to your music.

  • Absolutely amazing

  • oh my. this is one of the best shit ive ever seen. someday ill play like that.......... not.

  • i could only dream about playing like he does....

  • nice

  • dude

    waht facking musical creativty incredible

and you made great use of the loop station

  • очень круто, дядька молодец!

  • if David Gilmour and The Edge had a baby who looked like Joe Satriani...

  • inspires me to play around with my loop station...i wonder which looper he's using?...

  • One part Eric Johnson (chord voicings), one part David Gilmour (ambience), one part Edge (use of delay) and an awesome band to round out the sound.

Very cool and unique, bought the live sessions album today, good stuff!

  • Starting at 2:24 I'm reminded of Alex Lifeson. Sounds like something that could have fit into "La Villa Strangiato"

  • This guy really knows his stuff!!!....I am now an official fan!!

  • What a sound! Awesome!!!!!

  • sublime.... people dont realize how HARD it is to play that well...

  • I can't get any better than this! YOU ARE GODS!

  • Thanks Man,

I have a theory that music is flowing through the universe and that there are a few and play it people who are gifted enough to hear the sound and play it for us!

This is some of these people ........

  • insane

  • This song makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

  • He has some very Epic music! Songs such as "Believe In Angels" Never fails to amaze me!

  • i wish mainstream music was this good...

  • @natezynski aah, that's a nice thought...

  • @MelleB90 it is...too bad it just doesnt seem to be happening...at least the very popular mainstream stuff... :(

  • @natezynski

This is mainstream, all the other stuff is corporatestream. Money will ruin anything, especially an art form. This is a sad truth in our society today. People like Ray Montford and even myself, could care less about corporate money and what they think is best for us.

  • @mrbluestrings ...you sound like my kind of guy. what you say carries a lot of truth.

  • @natezynski lol you call this good?

  • @natezynski lol you call this good? old man go back to the 18th century, you don't belong here.

  • @sashamaz I'm 18...

  • @sashamaz Electric guitars and amplifiers weren't invented until the 20th century, prick.

  • Very Floydish - nothing wrong with that. Sounds great!

  • Unbelievably good....

  • so awesome!

  • you can play ! thanks for sharing

  • MASTERPIECE!

  • I have ears no need to comment , just digging it!

  • wasn't expecting that...very nice

  • Lol dude looks like Satriani. I give him props though hes good.

  • That was so cool. Loved it. *applause*

  • THE EDGE!!

  • Classic!!

  • love it! this dude has really got an ear for the sound he wants and is achieving it very well i think. watching him play kinda reminds me of a more abstract version of jeff beck

  • haha i thought it was the edge at first

  • Lol that guy really wants to be The Edge

  • i wish the bass was a bit louder, its kinda blurry out there somewhere (of coarse unless thats how they wanted it on purpose)

  • it sort of true u did use too maany effects. but it still sounds nice. and thats only in my opinion

  • Totally reminds me of Echo the Dolphin. Man I friggin' loved that game.

  • Nice tune with a great use of musical texture !

  • Very good play

  • it looks like that bassist doesn't know how to play....

  • this guy is good ,

  • sounds a lot like mike oldfield

  • He doesn't need the effects, he just uses them to produce the sound he wants. I'm sure he's still a good guitarist without the effects, it's just not the sound he's looking for.

  • You can also see it like this. This person is able to use the effects to the full.

The sound he produces is nice to listen to.

Look to Mike Oldfield and the things he did in the past..

No offence, but yoú don't know what you are talking about.

    Greetingzzz 2 u all

    Rob

  • @vinall12: ever thought that you can't play this live without some effects? think before you write!

  • @vinall12 By your logic I could call anybody that doesn't play acoustic guitar with no amp shit. Effects are only tools.

If your not fond of the music he's writing, sure, that's one thing. People like different kinds of music, that's life. But I guarantee you can't write anything half this good, otherwise I'd be watching your videos instead of his.

Pink Floyd used more effects than this guy. So have a million other bands since, including all the ones you like I'm sure.

  • not necessarily

  • Sound ist auf jeden Fall richtig schön, aber dieses hellgrün/türkis.. nicht so mein ding :D

  • super!

  • sounds a little like jeff beck

  • fantastic

  • ala zla

  • the tone on that guitar....mmmm mmm!

  • Fantastic.

  • Lachlan

  • Not my taste at all actually, but this really makes me (Steve) Wonder.

Starting to love Ray, he is such a new style.

  • awesome ! 5*

  • WHO is that bassist?! He played with DAVE WILCOX, the man is a genious!!!!! WHO IS HE?

  • Russ Boswell, as it says in the video notes to the right.

  • awesome music, but add some awesome lyrics and a halfway decent vocalist, and its the big-time

  • 5 stars always

  • The chord at 47 seconds is amazing.

  • the edge 2 :P

  • nice job can very much see the edge influence here....well, perhaps more expansive in places to be honest. and well if it was from a distance you'd look like him haha

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • is this guy tryin to be the edge lol?

  • reminds me of the mars volta a bit

  • holly molly, so awesome

  • Not my usual cup of tea, to be honest, but I'm slowly starting to appreciate artists like Ray. It's cool that Candyrat always keeps it interesting!

  • Awesome!

  • I can now die and go to Heaven, having heard the perfect guitar. Unbelievable.

  • Great guitar tones and chord changes! man I enjoyed that

  • Would be curious to hear it on a maple neck. :)

  • @legunncat

yeah what the hell would be different about it?

  • I don't reply to uncouth dilettantes. Learn the difference yourself.

  • @legunncat

difference? what the hell are you talking about....stop pretending like you know a thing about guitar and tone...everyone knows that pickups and amplification effect tone more than anything else

  • thanks for the advice.

  • @FlamencoPassion

I feel bad the way this conversation went.

A maple neck has a brighter tone then the

rosewood fretboards. If you listen you will

hear the nuances between the two. I have learned this after playing strats for 25 years.

  • wow! wonderful!!

  • love your music

  • @robibm2003 yeh i didnt like that wee guitar loop in the B.T either. Really fecking annoying lol sides from that I thought it was all prety sweet

  • i value your opinion

  • One of the best songs they've uploaded indeed

  • 1:03 awesome!! :D

  • Ray mondfort group, is now my favourite artist from rpoland!

  • Now that's music!

  • i can barely ear the bass :( but it was still AMAZING!!!! that end sliding could have gone on forever for me. :)

  • i really like what i've heard from this guy. i feel like the right vocalist might bring it all together though, maybe not for this track in particular but just in general

  • best one iv seen from them yet!! hopefully more to come! :D

  • For a few moments there I was convinced that was The Edge from U2 on guitar. Could pass off as a body double for him.

  • "That must spend a fortune on weed."

    AGREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!1!!ONEELEVEN

  • wow. beautiful

  • i was like wtf when the bassist appeared lol

  • who's that? The Edge? JAJAJAJAJA

  • That was refreshing. Wonderful tone and vibe.

  • clean as all hell

  • can't get over how much this guy looks like the edge

  • kind of sounds like Pink Floyd meets Eric Johnson.

  • Just amazing! I really love this music, This is what music should sound like! Great job you guys!

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! It's amazing!

  • Love his clean tone

  • good job i like

  • woah, the edge's twin is awesome!

  • Inedible.

  • was anyone else thinking this sounds a little bit like the Legend of Zelda Temple Theme? haha great song guys keep itup!

  • I wish I had a creative mind like this guy so I can make some amazing songs.

  • omfg..wow where can i get that pedal that repeats the chorus

  • Pure sickness!

  • 5 stars

  • He should have had a lot more drive on that fender when the drums really kicked in - in the beginning..! =D

  • One of their better ones imo... They are all good!

  • Nice use of the volume pedal.

  • Wonderful guys!

    A real treat. Thank you...

    Staffan

  • At first i thought it was The Edge with Bono on the drums... then I started to enjoy listening and realised it couldn't be.. lol

    U2 suck xD
