They let dom die to put drama in the game. If it was Carmine then everyone would be bitching about how carmine has to die all the time. Technically he doesn't they're all different people but the family yeah I get it. Anyway. And it couldn't have been Jace because no one would care we hardly no him. And it couldn't have been Cole or Baird because they didn't have horrible things happen to them during the war like their wife and children dying. It would have only worked with dom.
