i just almost got screwed, i didnt thought that a 8600 would be better than a 9500, since 9500 is a higher number, but actually the 5 is saying more aout the performance than the 9 in front, darn you nvidia, you almost tricked me!^^

i don't remember my own power supply well. but i'm sure it was over 400W and i can run 9600gt 1gb with my q6600 and 8gb DDR2 800MHZ on my P5QL motherboard. i'm also not sure if it will work

Hey, If yours is a dell inspiron 530 then u can keep even a 9800Gt as dell PSus are underrated ie 350W gives equivalent to 450-500W as it has 2x18A on 12V rail and it also has a 6-pin connector.

i got a hp though :( and since it has a quadcore i think it might take more energy too, so i don't think a 350W with a 9600gt would run well, it might run, but probably would over heat the power supply

i just bought this card a week back..its AMAZING i tell u...EVERY game(cod4,fear,nfs undercover,test drive unlimited,silent hunter4..to name a few)that i have played by now on it has run without a SINGLE frame loss....on ULTRA settings...128-x1024 res n 4x (or 8x wherever the option was)AA with everything else turned to max..a MUST RECOMMEND for every gamer
