  • Rated No. 1 song of all time, and I agree, however Bob Dylan has made a collection of songs that are equally good if not better.

  • Esto demasiado atrayente...

  • Horrible song. A very talented songwriter goes mad with vanity and disappears up his own arsehole.

  • @tigerboy1966 Expert troll sir.

  • Rollin' Stone (cancion de Muddy Waters)

    The Rolling Stones (Banda Británica)

Like a Rolling Stone (Cancion de Bob Dylan)

    Rolling Stone (Revista)

increible ver como esas 2 palabras han sido tan importantes para la musica del Siglo XX

  • i dont understand formats...butt does anyone else understand overtone..you sing and play guitar or vocal and it creates anew voice..\? in fact the more harmonies you lay down on a track it begins to shape and suggest accompianment ..through overtones? ...but i dont understand compression..explain?

  • I will always treasure my 600 vinyls, I think I will be buried with them.

  • @kattzco if you go before me let me have them!!

  • nice detail

    vinils

  • @thebluewarko vinyls*****

  • I love vocaloid music but that is a clasic

  • The best singer song writer ever. Hands down

  • According to a certain magazine:

#1 song of all time: "Like a ROLLING STONE" by Bob Dylan

#2 song of all time: "Satisfaction" by the ROLLING STONES

The name of the magazine: ROLLING STONE

    Coincidence? I don't think so!

  • You guys should realise that mp3 is becoming obsolete along with internet speed. You can listen HD stream with good formats, download biggest files as FLACs...

Hard drives have so much memory now, stop thinking with mp3 when you rip a CD, your ears will thank you.

  • Epic

  • introducing my 9 week old boy to the unbelievable talent that is bob dylan !!!!

  • The best !!!

  • from 00:00 to 00:04 how to kill your needle :-D

  • @pilotfish69 Always use the arm control to lower and lift it.

  • 20 people dont know what GOOD music really is...

  • TOOL!!!

  • I´m so jealous. Stupid mp3's....

  • vinyl rules!!!!!!! Vinyl will always topple mp3 like good topples evil

  • @Django5198 If it werent for mp3 you wouldnt be listening to it right now, the video encoding is mp3 for sound.

  • @joker28666 Sorry if I sounded like i was bashing mp3 with that comment. I think the mp3 player is a great invention. I listen to mine everyday when I'm walking around. You can listen to music wherever the hell you are with great sound quality. But there's nothing as good as placing a sheet of black plastic on a revolving circle, sticking a tiny needle on it and hearing some of the best sound quality ever

  • @Django5198 Yep!

  • @joker28666

A lot of mp3, particularly at 128kbps or even lower, isn't much different in quality to cassette tapes (of course, without risk of unravelling or playing at the wrong speed, as tape did from time to time). The next generation of digital sound will be in mbps, not kbps, needing a new format. How many websites these days still use large gif images, or compressed jpeg images? These formats become increasingly obsolete as the need for high compression fades.

  • the first time actually listening to this song i'm in tears and with goosebumps just beautiful :') awkward penguin <(")

  • Gracias!!

  • Fuckin' love Dylan!

  • Classy way to get around the copyright issue(s) - I dig man, thanks. You're a diamond. :D

  • Excelente tema, y sobre todo escucharlo de un vinilo, gracias por compartirlo con el mundo. un abrazo desde Chile

  • I was cursing that prick Antar Blue but now I'm here so it's ok, i forgive you antar

  • Lulz 10000 days.

  • Love this. Brings back so many memories...why do people have to analyze everything so much, you lose the real message when you do that. Just love it for what it IS!! A great song...simple. We don't have that anymore...songs now are not the same at all. Love live Dylan and his message...a very very talented man. Thank you so much for uploading this!! :)

  • I was just looking for this one when it came on. Hello world, Queen Jane.

  • it's such an relaxing video

  • I used to be the rolling stone until I was rumbbled and tumbbled out of my rock star

  • I love this song and the electric Dylan . It is one of my generation's anthems.

The flood of lyrical images is amazing. I remember riding in my 65 Mustang and thinking I understood the cosmos when he sang this.

  • Why do people even think that The Beatles copied Bob Dylan? They met and admired eachother, but their sounds are nothing alike.

  • @YelenaRoX Well, that depends what time o the Beatles take. In the '65 and '66 Lennon, and a little McCartney to, changed their "everybody loves everybody" (John Lennon, Play Boy, 1980) lyric songs, for a more philosofic lyrics, inspired for Dylan. Then they depeloped a more personal songwriting, that you can see en their last albums (The White, Let It Be or Abbey Road)

  • I like the Beatles but I love Bob Dylan in my opinion Dylan is much better song writer

  • É meu irmão...esse cara influenciou a todos nós....

  • 17 people disliked this song

  • it is very funny/sad that the 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 teenagers watching the first hit on youtube-lessness will never hear music this good meanwhile i better get back to HMV/Amazon-download-lessness and buy it again ....you pile of FN-waste!

  • @Frobe1357 It's not the greatest song of all time, but you have to admit the Beatles only got good when they started copying Dylan. Oh, and one more thing: why the fuck are you commenting on a Dylan video if you don't seem to like his music? I do believe you are a troll, sir, so good day.

  • @RDBeatnik Firstly I do like the song but it is considered by some to be the greatest song ever most notibally Rolling Stone magazine.

Secondly whats this crap about the beatles copying Bob Dylan they started at the same and there's barely any similarities musically between the two

Thirdly if you'd have read the full comment you would have seen at the bottom I said the song was good but it wasn't the best song ever. Read a comment fully before you reply to it.

  • @Frobe1357 the beatlesdid start copying bylan after they met in new york, Bob said to jhon 'your songs have nothing to say at all' and jhon was really affected by it and started to write more complex lyrics also dylan introducedthem to cannabis so he is also responsible for their psychodelic phase

  • @SuperPirux So he told them to start writing complex music and introduced them to drugs, that doesn't mean they ripped him of, bob dylan wasn't the only musician to get inspiration, everyone was doing it at the time.

  • @SuperPirux Actually it was ACID that gave them the psychedelic stage not cannabis. Revealed: Dentist who introduced Beatles to LSD Steve Turner, reveals the dentist to be John Riley, the son of a Metropolitan Police officer who, after training as a cosmetic dentist in Chicago, became a dentist to the stars. The experience spawned the surreal lyrics of Help so there we have it

  • @OrpheusIsThe1 THAT WAS BEFORE THEIR REAL PSYCHODELIC ERA

  • @SuperPirux Bob Dylan did not give The Beatles any real direction in their music.....

  • @REDtwotwotwo Listen to Beatles For Sale or Rubber Soul. Big Folk music influence there.

  • @RDBeatnik here's a better song: Hey Jude by the beatles

  • @Frobe1357 That's actually a good song, but the Beatles are still overrated. I'm tired of hearing about how great the fucking Beatles are.

  • 17 persone nn capiscono NIENTE

  • @RDBeatnik well theres a lot of choice there, but lets just go with the one i last listened to, bat out of hell by meat loaf. Also, no need for the profanities.

  • one of the best songs ever, love it!

  • my earliest memories of this lovely song loved it a 5 years old

  • myyyyyyyyyyyyyyy HIGHway!!!!

  • ooft.

  • I once saw three men (who looked like drug dealers) sat in a parked cadilac escalade, smoking marijuana and listening to hip hop & rap music. One of them changed the radio station and this masterpiece came on, then all three of them started to sing along. Needless to say i was shocked and it got me thinking about the power of Bob Dylan and Mary Jane. Happy belated 70th birthday Bob, may you have many more years doing what you do best and doing what nobody elase can even come close to. Thankyou.

  • anyone watched a film called "in the name of the father"? this is on it, and i'd highly reccoment it :) awesome tunes on it, this being one of them :)

  • Cheers very much for uploading this!

Dylan must have some serious lawyers!!

  • Music is subjective. To be honest, there is no way you can factually justify why The Beatles, The Doors or Led Zeppelin are any better than Justin Bieber. However, there is one man that rises above all subjectivity - Bob Dylan. There is no logical argument in the world that could prove that Dylan isn't the greatest songwriter of all time and an absolute genius. Thanks for enriching my life, Bob.

  • happy birthday nearly! bobby dylan!! thanks for this vid of vinyl spinning!! its the only way i found the original version!!! such a great, original, lifechanging songwriter. in tune with the times!

  • IM 3 AND I LOVE BOB DYLAN

  • ive just read the story behind this song and it would never sound the same again..suddenly every word has a meaning..

  • I like the bit between 0:00 and 6:00

  • @yuyu601 well said...

  • @oiseausarah I know what you mean. You're telling it like it is!

  • REALMENTE UMA PENA O Q A SONY ESTA FAZENDO,PROIBINDO VIDEOS E MUSICAS ORIGINAIS DE DYLAN.EXISTEM DEZENAS DE MUSICAS DE DYLAN CANTADAS POR OUTROS Q SÃO LINDAS,MAS TEM MUSICAS DE DYLAN QUE SOMENTE NA SUA VOZ INCONFUNDIVEL FICA PERFEITA,COMO LIKE A ROLING STONES E JOKERMAN,APENAS PRA CITAR ESSAS DUAS.

SEM DUVIDA,A MELHOR MUSICA POO,ROCK FEITA ATE HJ...AMO LIKE A ROLING STONES

  • I've always found it interesting that the mono version of this song was set at a slightly higher pitch than the stereo version, but yet no one has ever bothered to fix it after it was mixed and put onto the master. Hell, it's still sped up on The Original Mono Recordings box set. Guess people must take the higher pitch as something endearing to them.

  • Please can someone tell me what "Who carried on his shoulder his siamese cat" Bob is trying to say

  • @maternatura2 seriously, sometime i can't understand what he's trying to tell but i still enjoy his stuff, what a magician!

  • @maternatura2 The Song is believed to be about Edie Segwick, so in that part he's likely referring to Andy Warhol (who is often blamed for making Edie a drug addict and using her to fund his own addiction until she had nothing left, then he didn't want anything to do with her).

  • i'm going to say it but i don't actually like this song , just doesn't seem that amazing to be honest

  • my ex never once turned around to see the frowns on the jugglers and the clowns when they did tricks for her howewver she did get £180 haircuts ........... bitch gimmie me money back :)

    É muitíssimo adorável!!!

  • yonatanabner- tasteless

  • so this is the number one of rock n roll?? I don't think so

  • I uploaded one video of Bob cause i didn't found any real here on youtube. See my channel please :)

  • I love this song!

  • I was thrilled to be at Bob Dylan's first concert tour (Chicago stop) after his motorcycle accident. They were with "The Band." The whole show was great, however, this particular tune revved the crowd to the max. This was the first concert I was at where audience members lit matches & lighters in tribute. DYLAN FOREVER. Peace and Love to ALL.

  • I remember scaping from home when I was sixteen, the only tune that came to my mind was this.

HOW DOES IT FEEEEEEEL....?? TO BE ON YOUR OWN....!!!

  • @cutterschoice2 - I wanted to escape my violent home even before I was 16. Since my parents were so neglectful, I felt like I was already on my own from the age of 11 when I was sent to work outside of the home and turn the money over. Apparently, you were able to survive by yourself. Good for you. Best Wishes To You Always.

  • I'm amazed at the quality coming out of that vinyl. I never thought it would be so good.

  • 10 people are complete unknowns.
