The announcer of this game was Ray Scott. Interesting that there are ABC Sports graphics because Scott was the Penn State announcer. If Ray Scott worked the game for ABC, that would have been awesome since Scott wasn't a big fan of Howard Cosell and hated Roone Arledge's way of sports coverage on ABC. Scott is best remembered for his days with the Green Bay Packers and CBS.

Great job! I was 16 when this game was played and remember it well. This team could have been better than it ended up. Injuries and that awful 2nd half gag job against Missouri did them in. Anyone remember the uncalled false start by the scUM "O" line that resulted in a TD? That TD was OSU's demise that day.
