  • those hair bobbels were awfull!

  • andy's such a good gymnast!

  • good movie

  • Seriously why the hell does it end there

  • Everybody comments on how Leslie doesnt look sick. Havve you tought that maybe Leslie taught Andie into an eating disorder so that she could be better than her? :o

  • @cristinamarquezb No, she doesn't look sick because bulimia can be very very hard to detect. They don't get as skinny as anorexics because their bodies can't get rid of all the calories that they purge.

  • @cristinamarquezb No, you can see how Leslie hates it when Andie gets a better score than her so that's not very likely in the least. But she doesn't look sick because with Bulimia your body doesn't get rid of all the calories that you've eaten. Over time however it will eventually cause the same effect as anorexia just not as noticable or as quick.

  • So how did it end since all the endings have been removed??

  • @MiCHAELJLYSSAPAC I have the movie. Andy quits the gym and moves back home. In the end she tells Josh that she is in therapy and trying to get better. It ends with her going to her high school gym and getting on the beam to Peter Gabriel's song "Don't Give Up". That part makes you sad but also happy for her getting better.

  • @Hereismytwocents2011 Ohhhhh thanks for taking the time to reply and tell me! I watched this movie a long time ago but didn't remember how it ended so was bummed when I thought I couldn't this time either. Good to know. =]

  • Where is the rest of it ????????????!!!!!!!?????

  • That coach had a lot of nerve, not wanting to take ANY responsibility for setting up the environment that caused Andie to have a problem. I've worked with good coaches before and HE does not qualify in my book!

  • where's the last part??? its not on netflix and its not at most movie rental places.it's too old!

  • All that I watched and it stops here..? uh..

  • Wheres part 9?????

  • what is the song called when Andy is on the bars?

  • @ShawtyMe96 since no one in the world seems 2 know.. its "state of mind" by merril bainbridge

  • @msnoahxlukefan I knew it was her! I still adore her. She still makes music, it's just none of it has charted since the 90's. :/

  • yeah, i think this movie sends a great message and all...but its making me hungry lol

  • noooooooo!!!!!! theres no part nine :(

  • ah the floor routine annoys the crap out of me she did the round off dive forward roll fhs thing twice AR!G!! but good movie haha

  • Lesley did a yurchinko without a salto 1/2

andy did a half on arabian or back tuck 1/2 with DEEP landing

  • it doesn't make sense to me how on the vault andy did a more complicated flip and did't stutter when she landed but lesley did a more simple trick and stuttered when she landed but lesley got as higher score than andy. i know it's staged, but still!

  • !!To anyone who lives in the USA, Heres the ending!!!

Her parents decide to move back home. Andie runs away to the gym, where she sees a new girl being given the same lecture about her weight that was given to her. She decides that she is not ready to go back to training. After moving back to Portland, Andie joins a support group where she is encouraged to eat as part of her therapy. At the end of the movie, she is seen walking into the school gymnasium and getting back on the balance beam.

  • @miaangel247 Thank you so much! I was curious. Btw, any idea why I cant watch it here in the U.S.?

  • @xTsukikoxMFxMiyakox

IDK i cant watch it either since i live in the US too.

  • @miaangel247 i have see part 9 final bout a couple months ago and im in the USA and i had no problem before... do you know why they blocked it?

  • i hate that song man

  • Woow

  • @crayonberry9 ughhhh, im not gettin into this again. kay sure, thats not wat i believe but if u do, thts ok.

  • Where's the next part?

  • awful vault by reynolds...LOL

  • absolutely hate the music that's played. it creeps me out.

  • @magcas123 Saaammee, whenn it starts up i turn my volume off :s :P

  • @magcas123

"I feel it tearing at my soul while I-"

    (meanwhile background ticking)

    Agreed.

  • haha the coach told u

  • you cant watch part nine they blocked it

  • @sarahstorm4 why they do that for removeing part 9

  • they did a really good job making andy look thinner and anorexic for the movie, she really looks sick

  • @apluskel i think she looks more like a zombie than sick

  • What i dont understand is that Leslie is apparently also bulimic so why is it that she doesnt look as hollow, drained, exhausted and seem to be suffering as Andie is,I dont get it.Does anyone care to explain please?

  • @angie10174 A majority of bulimics aren't emaciated. Their body is still absorbing calories. A lot of people with bulimia, actually end up GAINING weight, rather than losing it. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but this is coming from 14 years of dealing with a wide variety of EDs.

  • my BEST friend [my brother] 2 years ago. who I hadn't seen in 4 months, said I was fat. since then I've been balemic, and anorexic, I've tried to kill myself twice in the past 4 months I had a counselor who helped alot ! I just started getting my self confidence back. and now another family member I love told me I'm a ditsy airhead, who needs to get it together! so now my confidence is totally GONE!!! so PLEEZE don't say hurtful things to people you never know how they feel inside. thx
  • @kaylin143LUV Best of luck to you <3

  • @GabbehSezHii

    thanks :)

  • Lose excess FAT. Weight includes water and muscle. Using a scale to monitor loss of excess fat is misleading. Hopefully no one is still DOING this. HIRE an EXERCISE TRAINER to measure your body fat. Talk to a NUTRITIONIST as to how to lose excess fat but keep MUSCLE. Dropping below a minimum number of calories per day puts the body in starvation mode. It drops MUSCLE so you get WEAK and eventually DIE. Stay above the minimum to lose fat but gain STRENGTH. Ask your Doc for a referral. Dr Rogers

  • @KatherineRogers You're assuming that most eating disordered individuals actually care if they die or not. Living or dying is circumferential to food, calories, weight, the scale.

  • i think that if she had never goin to that man for a coach she would not be sitting in a hospital right now and she had poor judgement when she thought she was not going to be effected by starving herself and i also wish that i could see part 9

  • Comment removed

  • yea the mom really isnt being strict enough

  • Well that sucks...I watch all the parts of the movie just to see that part 9 (final) can't show

  • Well that coach told her....lmao

  • Anyone notice Leslie messed up her second tumble run?

  • Is this a lifetime movie?

  • Comment removed

  • Grrrr! computer's not letting me watch the last part. How does the film end?

  • please put up the final part@

  • Is there part 9 or 10?

  • omg, her face looks so scary. her cheeks are like...nonexistent.

  • WHERES PART 9?!?!?!?!

  • @Rubyblue0910 its right there

  • @lovorlie nvm its been fucking removed lol

  • @lovorlie um where??

  • Andi actually sat down on her vault, touched the floor so she would've got a zero....

  • Ugh copyright deleted the last part! Does anyone know what happened??

  • woooow!! she looks soo sick and tired!!

  • It's been only 14 years and gymnastics have changed so much... these routines (especially vault) pale in comparison to the sort of things girls have got to do to keep up nowadays...

  • she have very big ears....

  • @westcoastlovely you are the one who apparently failed health class because anyone who has actually taken the class has seen that bulimia and anorexia is a mental disease. And just because YOUR brain works one way it doesn't mean that everyone's works the same way. You said your abusive ex would call you fat. Maybe you didn't care, but a person who has a low self steen it would be different. They would believe it. And it has been proven a mental disease by PROFESSIONALS: unless you have a docto

  • What is the song playing at 6:40

  • I like the song of the floor exercise =)

  • OH no! no last part... I need closure... anyone see it... what happens? does she stop and care for herself? Do they sue the coach? what happens!?

  • It made me nervous every time she did a release move..

  • i love that stuck up bitch face leslie pulls.

  • Where is part 9? I can't find it

  • @mmehallow5678 it's blocked :(

  • @britishjamz i know! i just want to see the end!

  • i've been trying to find this and finally i found it here! i was going to buy it, but on amazon it's $105.00 , i was like, hell no!

  • @westcoastlovely Anorexia is known as one of the highest common ways of death, it's not idiocy it's phycological. It really is serious. The most prettiest girls or even guys look at themselves in the mirror n see something that isn't there. Which is fat. No one can explain it but it's a terrible disease. Unless you've been called fat or ugly or even feel any hatred of yourself idt you'll ever understand.

  • @htpnk120 Yes, I've been called fat. My abusive ex would do it all the time. I'm 5" 3', 105 lbs. Even after we broke up, he had his way of doing that; he would ask "are you pregnant? because you kind of look like it". Was I about to almost kill myself losing weight to try and please some douch bag? no. And anyone who does is ..... yep, an idiot.

  • @westcoastlovely ur an idiot

  • @westcoastlovely ur ex doesnt mean to u wat gymnastics meant to andy. it was her life and she was willing to sacrifice anything for it. and since u DONT hav an ED STOP actin like u know what its like cus stop callin her an idiot, ur obviously the idiot becus u know nothing about this subject. u think ur all smart but DOCTORS, both physical and psychiatrists hav proven it is a mental disorder. and since no idiot like u cud ever be a doctor, fuck off

  • @HotTherapy101 Coming from someone who spells like they failed 4th grade. mmmmk

  • @westcoastlovely Wowwww, great comeback! That's only been used since, um, ever! It's how people type nowadays, dumb-ass. But fine I'll type like that just so YOU can understand me. Since you have little to no imagination, I'll explain this simply to you. Trained professionals, the people you look up to for the world to make since, who have completed at lease eight years of medical school, have proven EDs are a mental disorder. You haven't gone to eight years of medical school, have you?

  • @HotTherapy101 One that they give themselves. And is totally preventable. Like an alcoholic; I don't have sympathy for them either. But, I guess you would since "trained professionals" say they have a disease.

  • @westcoastlovely They don't "give it to themselves" the coach in this movie told her to lose weight and she got carried away. They view a distorted image of themselves. Look up anorexia or eating disorders on youtube. You'll be shocked what you see.

  • @HotTherapy101 If someone says "lose weight", it is that persons decision *how* to lose weight. Her coach didn't tell her to stick her finger down her throat. That is a decision one makes themselves.

  • @westcoastlovely Oh and that thing you said about alcoholics is completely invalid. They didn't say "Oh, I think I want to be an alcoholic". I cant imagine what kind of a heartless person you are if you believe they did. Alcoholics have addictive personalities, so when they drink alcohol certain receptors in their brains crave more. It's like nicotine. I can see you are impossibly ignorant.

  • @westcoastlovely I didn't twist your words at all! You JUST said "its a choice they make" What do you mean where did I get that??? God, you are such an ignorant idiot! Learn a little more about the world around you. Thank you to whoever marked that as a spam.

  • @westcoastlovely thts wrong, wowwww u out dumbed yourself! all it takes is one drink, like smoking one cigarette, and ur addicted. i am me? im not the stupid one here.

  • @HotTherapy101 lol. It's doesn't work that way, hon.

  • @westcoastlovely u make me laugh. u think u understand, but u are a complete idiot. i had a close relative who was an alcoholic. all it took was one drink and they were addicted. you're so stupid i don't even know how to explain this to u.

  • @HotTherapy101 Read a little bit about it, sweets.

Those at risk for developing alcoholism include:

Men who have 15 or more drinks a week Women who have 12 or more drinks a week

Anyone who has five or more drinks per occasion at least once a week.

  • @westcoastlovely not true for my relative. and stop calling me sweets and hon. its creepy. and this started on anorexia. they dont do it 5 times a week. it happens to them immediately. its a one time thing that they keep wanting to do again, not something they overdo and get addicted too. most of the time they don't even realize they have a problem.

  • @HotTherapy101 Keep on thinking that sugar pie :)

  • @westcoastlovely um ya i will cause that's completely true... what makes you think you know so much? why do you think you are right? and i'm assuming you don't actually live on the west coast, because nobody here EVER says sugar pie. that just screams Texas.

  • @HotTherapy101 It's called research; try it! And no, I don't even live close to Texas.

  • @westcoastlovely Watever, your not good enough for Cali, and obviously you did NO research on anorexia or you would have seen you were wrong. LOOK IT UP! whats most annoying is that the info is right there and you refuse to admit you are wrong.

  • @HotTherapy101 Hmmm, never said I was from Cali. lol, you're so strange.

  • @westcoastlovely i didn't say u were, i said your not good enough, since your username is "westcoastlovely" i assumed u were from the area. guess you live in oregon or washington or something. whatever, though, that's not the point. and I'm still standing by on my argument that alcoholics and anorexics are born like that, they don't bring it on themselves. But your like talking to a brick wall, I'm not going to waste my time trying to get you to believe something that you are obviously too

  • @westcoastlovely ignorant to understand. but I'll take the higher path. I know I'm right and I don't need you for me to know that. I'll look out for you, though. I can tell you're gonna do something amazing with your life. Wasting time talking about something that EVERYONE is against, when you know you're proven wrong is just the way to start. ;D

  • @HotTherapy101 lol, I can imagine an alcoholic ... "don't judge me I was born this way!!" while stumbling around. You are too much. Don't go away; keep posting, I need the laughs!

  • @westcoastlovely No. You need the excitement. Goodbye.

  • @westcoastlovely also anorexia is more gradual. it starts with dieting, than gets carried away.

  • @HotTherapy101 You're both wrong, I'm a Paramedic so I do know what I'm talking about so don't even try to say I don't or that I didn't do my research. Alcoholism and becoming an alcoholic do not develop after just one drink. It is a very long, gradual process and can even have to do with heredity.

  • @Tarynitup122287 The same goes for anorexia. They don't just wake up and think hmm I'll be an anorexic or I'll be an alcoholic today. They both come from snowball effects, they start out as a manageable problem and gradually escalate to a more serious disease.

  • @Tarynitup122287 ummmm, thanks. but that's not we're arguing about. she doesn't consider being anorexic or an alcoholic a real disease, and i do. sure we mentioned how we originally thought it was caused, which i guess i was wrong about, but that's not the base of our disagreement.

  • @Tarynitup122287 if you would have looked at our earlier posts you would have gotten a better idea about what's going on. but its a little weird that you are a paramedic and are wasting your time meddling into peoples debates. but, i don't want to have two people on youtube hate me, whatever.

  • @westcoastlovely I can't even handle you. It's preventable? It's not like anyone tells you "Hey, that diet you're thinking about? It might lead to an eating disorder a few months down the road!" That's ridiculous. Eating disorders completely take over your life and your mind, you lose control. It's no longer a choice. You're entitled to your opinion, but that doesn't mean you should go shouting it all over the place, especially when your opinion is so ignorant of reality.

  • @htpnk120 is it really one of the most common??

  • It's a miracle her heart didn't give up on her

  • is it just make up that makes her look so sickly?

  • it is a mental problem i have anorexia and im a gymnast i ahve been for 6 years straight its hard ive been in treatment centers but nothing helps i had almost dies in 2006 its not idiotic its all a mental problem my coach told me before i started i needed to lose 10 lbs or he wouldnt teach me at the time i was 100lbs and 5 ft 8 in now im 80 lbs its all mental

  • @BoatswainsMate09 Ok, why did you risk your health all to please your dumbass coach? That's idiotic. I was a gymnast too; if my coach ever asked me to do that I would have flipped him the bird and gone somewhere else.

  • @BoatswainsMate09 stfu u ant in shit

  • Hahahaaaaa 2:52 "Biiiiiiiiiiiitch!!!" face XD

  • Seriously, some of their steps are just bizarre ._.U

  • I love watching people do gymnastics. It's as if gravity barely acts on them and they can do so many things I thought humans were incapable of doing. I use to think gravity hated me but since I started dancing I feel like I can jump and twirl and gravity can't pull me down any more. It's awesome, it really makes you feel free.

  • she looks so horrible.............it's so sad. i didnt relize that people lose wieght that way for a sport..............not just beauty :(

  • I hate that I can't see the whole movie.

I would buy it if it was available in Germany but it isn't ... and now what? I love this movie! <3

  • How dare that coach put the blame on that girls mother... If I ever saw something like that happen in real life I'd get the nearest object and whack him over the head.

  • @westcoastlovely Eating disorders are mental as well as physical. It's very easy for someone to get caught up in the pressure to be thin for sports like gymnastics, dance, ect.

And that quote about anorexia is just plain offensive.

  • @purplestreakpunk Nope, I don't buy it. The only "mental" problem they have is failing health class or being warped by society. What kind of disease is "wahhhh I don't want to get fat!!!, when being offered a crouton?

What burns fat? Muscle. What do people lose when they stop eating? Muscle. Soooo, they want to get thin by destroying what burns fat? That's not a disease or mental disorder ..... that's idiocy.

  • @westcoastlovely you really have a problem. It IS a mental issue. Your view of yourself is so warped that nothing anybody tells you gets to you. you just see blubber where there's bones. Ignorant people like you make people with ED's have a harder time than they should already.

  • @akissy sorry, but again, I don't buy it.

  • @westcoastlovely That's because you have never talked to a shrink, nor had the disorder. Or because you're ignorant and want to remain so. It reminds me about how people didn't believe in the Dissociative Personality Disorder or even in Schizophrenia. Mental issues seem fake to people because they are obtuse and arrogant enough to think they can control and understand their brains entirely.

  • @westcoastlovely Woooooowww....... You're stupid.

  • @westcoastlovely It's not even so much about just wanting to lose weight, it's about control. People with eating disorders don't feel like they can control anything else in their lives, so they choose to not eat as a means of control. And as much as you don't want to believe it, it IS a mental disorder. You'd have to have it to be able to understand. So don't try to call it or people suffering from it idiots...you're the idiot for trying to talk about something you clearly know nothing about.

  • Why didn't Kaitlin want anyone to hug her? They could obviously see how thin she was when she put on her leotard.

  • when she fell off the bar it reminded me so much of when she got shot on Flashpoint!

  • by experience i can say that when you start to see the bars moving youd better not go on it!

  • the mom is a bitch like hes a coach not a phychiatrist

  • @MelissaMuis yeah but he should notice there's eomthing wrong. but he's too selfish to notice that. he doesn't care how his comments affect peoples.

  • @iheartsjonas acctually he did notice because he asked her. But she told him that she was fine again and again until he believed her. What was he meant to do?

I know that he has smost of the responsibility; but I think that he did know something was up!

  • she looks just sooo sick :(

  • She doesn ' t look that thin ....

  • 9:37 Ah! Touche!

  • At like 5:53 -5:54, Leslie's landing is a little sloppy. How the heck did she get a 9.8?! o_O

  • @nEn113 I know, right?

  • @nEn113 I know!!! All she even did was a round of bhs when andie did a tuck. and her tumbling was a lot easier than andie's on floor as well.

  • @nEn113 judging was easier back then?

  • @nEn113 Try insanely sloppy i am no gymnast but seriously geez.

  • She looks so thin and fragile, she cant keep doing this to her self. I feel so hypocritical though cause right after this I'm going to exercise:|

  • HAHAH Leslie's floor routine is really... odd.

  • whats the song called?

  • @tatulover2120 "State of Mind" by Merril Bainbridge

  • i just kinda noticed that not only is this movie about gymnast with eating disorders...its also about bulimia vs anorexia....andi who has anorexia is always competing against lesley who has bulimia

  • What I don't get is why the medical person didn't immediately tell her parents that she was not eating.

  • this is like the third time they have played the same song.

  • @nwbxvcmqlskdjfhg The song signifies something negative happening with her body at that moment...really effective i think....

  • @nwbxvcmqlskdjfhg- Of course they did, its practically this movie's theme song.

  • Gymnast always have the worst hair styles.

  • @InFromTheVoid omg i completely agree even though i am a gymnast

  • @InFromTheVoid haha i agree in this movie, but some are really awesome.

  • Where is the last part?

  • @happypenguin1990 i found it i have it

  • why are her parents so calm??? she's in the hospital.

  • @AshleyApelzin when that happened to me my parents fliped out

  • horrible vault by andie
