Yeah there was a lot of mistakes, especially coloring, in the older episodes but it didn't matter because it was all about the great humour. Now it's like it's the other way around, like they focus on making it all look fancy and pretty but not making it funny.

Family Guy usually has 18 episodes per season, is in it's 10th season and (my opinion) has become dismal and nearly unwatchable. Sure they both provide great moments here and now, but Family Guy's decrease in quality compared to the Simpsons is pathetic.
