See that book mentioned a man named Enoch who also recorded his accounts called the Book of Enoch it was discovered in the 1800's by an explorer in what we now call Ethiopia. I was finally translated and printed i the early 1900's. He mentions Giants and how they became to be and what happened to a majority of them. We know this because we can compare those results to absolute dating techniques such as dendrochronology...counting tree rings. The dendrochronological record is solid back to roughly 3000 B.P. AMS C14 dating is typically accurate to within +/- 50 years.

Does it occour to anyone that the reason scientific american doesn't run these stories anymore is because new techniques prove them false. Those supposed bones (being only single bones from part a thing) are most likely from some animal. Also the age of the bones far exceeds the age of the odest human like creatures. And of course remember, living on the moon by now and aliens living on mars were the type of serios stories in the 1800s.

The carbon dating technique have been proven faulty by christian scientists decades ago; new studies show that the ratio between the stable and original isotopes differs in different parts of the same material (bone, stone, etc..). This cast doubts on carbon dating because this method lies on the assumption that the ratio are the same in different parts of the material in question.

this "proof" you speak of has little to do with most of what you consider scientific fact. for example, you can in no way prove all life has a common ancestor, or that dating methods are correct. these are based largely on assumptions, as many professionals admit.

if you research county historical records from the 1800's to early 1900's in the mound builder regions (especially ohio) you find tons of records of mass graves of a giant race...mostly 8-9 ft tall, but many even taller. much of this was documented by scientists, but when professional "scientific" organizations like the Smithsonian got their hands on the remains they'd "lose" them to protect their pet theories and reputation. it's extremely common in the "scientific" community at high levels :(

gorilla- for one, no verse says the age of the earth. however, many scientific facts show it can't be "millions" of yrs old, let alone billions. for example, if you extrapolate how big the sun should have been 4.6 billion yrs ago, it would have burnt the earth to a crisp.
also, dating methods assume radiometric decay rates have never changed. but factors like the earths magnetism, or atmospheric isotopic content, DO change the rates, and these have changed greatly over time.

They have pictures, but most of them are fake (I only dont say all because I haven't seen them all). One way you can tell is where the bones are found and the condition they're in, the pictures are fake. Also alot of the "confirmed human bones" are actually from mammoths and giraffes. Paleontologists don't bother looking into these since they are all fake, not because they're afraid religion is right.

If actual giant skeletons were found, they would surely be scientifically investigated. Who were they? Where did they come from? There is no reason to withold this information from anyone. Even if it does link in to accounts with the blah-bull.
But it's proven beyond doubt that giants cannot exist with similar skeletal proportions because the bones cannot sustain the weight of such large bodies. It not possible.

I've never found a scripture that specifically says that the Nephilim were the offspring of the fallen angels. I think 1 Enoch says such. But 1 Enoch is an apochryphal book and a lot of people do not beleive it should be in the bible canon.
