@crazyluigifan Mostly due to the fact that most VAs are adults and not actual kids. But actually due to the fact that many (real world) children have very irritating voices I think the VAs do a splendid job of expressing that annoyingness.

the fighting seems to be fun and challenging...

i allways prefered games like zelda,alundra ect ect over the ones like the FF series...

real-time fighting in rpg's is so much more fun,the round-based stuff just gets me sleepy and theres no skill needed at all,so passive xD

think im gonna have a closer look on Y's :)

The only turn-based RPGs I've REALLY been able to get into are those of the Shin Megami Tensei series, the style, dialogue and story are excellent, and the gameplay is strategic and challenging enough that it doesn't put you asleep.

If you lower the volume of the BGM, then even though the voice is not any higher, it will relatively speaking, sound higher, so the background music won't drown out the voice acting.

It's just a minor thing, though, it's the commentary that matters more, and I can hear that fine.
