You did a speedrun run of both this and rondo. Would you say one is more difficult than the other, or is chronicles pretty true to the original?

@smithcm14 There's some minor aspects that makes them different, mainly in regards to Stage 5'. For the most part, the games are quite similar. The only reason I would say the remake is slightly harder is that Stage 5' has a harder level, a boss at the end, and Maria's Guardian Fist is less broken.

1. There isn't a decent PSP emulator out there yet.

2. Emulators are forbidden by SDA rules anyways.

So the answer is no. If I ever do a run on an emulator, I will say so.

I think the OST to the PC Engine version is superior to this one. I mean yeah, this version does sound good and is very high in quality. But you can tell that the music has been arranged/remixed. I guess it's just not out there. Oh and SirVG, I tried to get the one of off gamemp3s like you said, but that torrent seems to be all but dead. Is it the original version that they are hosting???

The 2007-11-18 torrent is reported to have a seed, according to the tracker. And it's both the remake's OST (Disc 1) and the original's OST (Disc 2), plus a few bonus tracks.

Well, as I stated, I don't have a real way to record. I'm using the green cable on the component connection plugged into my composite connection. That's why the really crappy video quality, but this was only really a demonstration run, aiming to show route.

Thanks, though this wasn't a fantastic recording anyways...not because of the crappy grayscale quality, but it's definitely improvable.
